I only saw bloodlust so i am probably not qualified to make a desicion... but for the one movie I saw, it was Damn good!!

the first was better... he was a real hater in the first one... In this one he really didn't have any opponets that gave him trouble... it was cool, but not really impressive.. the first was longer, more convulated.. real betraylas and turnarounds ..... I think you'll getting tie up with the abosultley incredibly animation and artwork of bloddlust.. If the old one was done over in the style o the new one ...we might be hearing a differant answer from people...

Bloodlust was excellent but you have to take the time factor into consideration the original VHD along with other classics such as akira were groundbreaking bloodlust had a better story but the original had much better fight scenes the only thing the original didn't have was story and animation and well the animation is all part of the time factor

it's kinda like comparing Chrono Trigger To Cross

And how can u say 1 had better fight scenes.The Animation is a key factor in fight scenes.Just because it was set at an older date doesnt mean you have to get sentimental and sayit had better fight scenes.The animation was clearly better in 2,so the fights were ALOT more entertaining.

Yes you can compare it in some ways like the generilization of they are both very entertaining.But certain factors cannot be compered.Thats what I'm telling the idiot Osiris.

Damn u ppl. Stop looking at the blasted animation. If animation made a show/game then no one would've liked Zelda for the NES. Take the show for what it was. Maybe it's because most of you saw BloodLust first, but as i expressed before, the Original when I first saw it on Sci-fi when i was young Ninja was GROUNDBREAKING. I mean really.... D just move like a real killer and then the big plot twister where you find out he's Count Dracula's son! What more you want?!!

But i still giving BloodLust real props. BloodLust was DAMN good, i not dissin it, i just saying how the original will be madder in my opinion.

but the first one ninja didn't really give much way for a story... there was just a lot of nonstop killing and no sort of real interactions and stuff.. i mean for the first of it's kind it was REALLY good, don't get me wrong, but in the second they had already analysed wat the did right and DIDn't do in the first THS improving on it... BOTH the animation AND the story.....
though i get wat ur sayin bout the plot twist and stuf but all in all, the econd's better.....
