The Gf4 MX440 64MB DDR is an awesome card for an awesome price, and it's all u need till Halflife 2 comes out....Then ship over to the 256mb ATI Vcard.

Right Now I want to change my MX440 caus to be honest i decided to give nVIDIA a shot and was disappointed. Plus I confused as to what card to get. I was thinkin of maybe a ATI 9500 or something (Maybe A TI4800). This Would Be A Card To Use Until I change My Mobo Next year and I get A 9800 Pro

to Bourbon Sensei....not that i judgin u or nothin....but if u say that u poor an u need more money to spen then u should think that if u buy this card if it will gain u more income than u spent on it....since u say u workin so hard an ting...jus a lil business advice

Just buy a card that'll satisfy your gaming needs to get by on your budget and things should be fine. The geforce 4 mx 440 is basically a standard card now since it comes with most purchase PCs by default. It's a pretty good card. Ati and Nvidia always fighting for top position but in the end Ati always prevails. It's not a huge difference but hey everything in this world is by one's preference and needs. Pick the one you like.

i think baego law down the law perfect ( even if hes a deus ex lover ). i like many am a gcard freak ive changed my graphic card 4 times in the last 3 months. im presently on a gf4 ti 4200 not bad but aint no 9800. yet after changing cards so often ( becase of my work i get free parts alot ) i realise that im content where i am at present. when there are more dx 9 games ill upgrade to a dx9 card.
in you case i say let price be your guide if you can get your hands on a 9200 pro then thats a better plan than a gf4 mmx. one down side is although its a faster card i personally believe cause of the 9200 old architecture things arent as polished as the gf4.

Ok guys I got the geforce MX 440...now I don't know if it is the operating system (XP home) or what but whenever I am playing C&C Generals It crashes during gameplay (like 30mins into the game) and a window comes up saying a serious error has occured. Can someone please give me a diagonistic. Thanks for your time

download forceware..i got the same problem with the same card and sum advice,sell it and buy a better one.and after u install the updated drivers,go and delete the traces of the older ones from the registry.

I works well for the price and runs all my games nicely

Except for crowds and blur for me in NFSU
