Re-spawn time is not an issue for me.
It all depends on your own skill level and the calibre of players you play with.
If a game is 5secs or less re-apawn and you reach the opponent's flag and kill him, when he respawns, depending on how good you are at the game, you can either kill him again or hit a "ghost" (fake a left and go right) or doge bullets.

I agree with all that. but people, people, people, if you're going to use the cheap ass M4 (note: one of the cheapest guns in the game) at least learn how to use the god forsaken thing.

how many times i've seen some shit-on fire 2 grenades and then go running for a health pack because he doesn't have the balls to play without them.

and that barn map is a waste of time and space. it doesn't prove anything. it takes no skill whatsoever to play. all one team has to do is pelt enough grenades, or flames, and have their trusty M4 equiped and half the other team is dead or dying. i like playing new stages b/c then everyone has to learn them and all you have to rely on is the skill u hav, not how well u can hide behind some boxes.

Actually Shizz, Tourneys didnt play like that. They had order and rules. There were long respawn times (penalty for actually dying). Teams had formations and each member had an assignment (ask Baego). It was like you were really in the army and had only one life. And this applied to all fps games I've seen in Tourneys. All you guys have to do is talk before playing the game instead of shouting "ey sof server up, who playin?" And anyone who actually organising a disorganised game of sof should be spanked. You see it in those sof forums. Players are scolded for not being where they were supposed to be. Snipers being scolded for missing too much and letting too much targets through their assigned point. This is a very serious game. Just those n00bs from SAC spoilt the experience for most of us.

Well actually respawn time does make a difference in a capture the flag especially if its a small map but if you have an unlimmited account at your favourite GL or you does have private LAN parties "my favourite" is best you have a 15 sec respawn time....
Again what i would like to see move over into the SOF2 multiplayer capture the flag is player resets when you capture the flag no mc base hiding and coming up and grabbing the flag as soon as your partner captures it

I say a good 5 sec respawn is good enough ,not no 15 sec respawn.That will just take the fun outta de game.But I think the game bad even though is just captureing the opponents flag,cause I just play for the blood:twisted:

15 secs. is an ideal punishment for actually dying.

Waz allyuh opinions on snipers. In a CTF game (Bridge Of Argorath to be exact). would it be fair to have bout 5 snipers on each side. Cuz Fri. i was in SNS and we run the map, talk bout sniper city!. yuh couldn't move without gettin snipe. After bout 1/2 hr. only 2 flag get ketch. Of course yuh boy was top sniper :twisted: but i found it kinda cheap. Opinions ppl?!

snipers are cowards. well, leave 'em there i say. it's always fun to creep up behind one and gunbut them with my trusty silver talon. but too much in one game esp. one as small as BoA is annoying. but snipers have their faults.

I like when it have snipers in Argonath.
Most times I hit them shotgun ini thier head and go get thier flag aftwerwards.
As I said earlier,it all depends on how skilled you are.

Might I add that the USAS is the cheapest gun,not the m4.

Sometimes there's suicide assigned men to go in a tunnel with an M4 and smoke it out..
USAS is more close range.
Snipers arnt cowards, that's their job, to protect the base.
And 5 snipers is more than enough. Normally 2 would suffice.
