HOW REAL MEN SHOULD PLAY SOF2

Okay.

I am fed up of hearing people enjoying a "good" game of SOF (yes is an SOF thread leave if yuh doh like de mc game) and using some very, how to put it, lame match settings.

2 sec spawn limit, 20 flag to capture, and everyone just jumping around shooting each other for 30 minutes with only 2 flags captured.

Wonder why that happens?

Basically that is why the games gets shunned by a lot of people (and the over play I know), but adjust the settings and make a balanced game.



Something like 8 Flag limit, 10-15 sec spawn time and if Deathmatch no pick ups.

That is my suggestion/contribution, b!tch about it or contribute let me hear what allyuh say.

It had a time i was playing a ctf in sns:1 sec respawn time
game went on for almost 1 hr with NO flags being captured...
Finally we called a vote and got rid of it:)

That's one of the reasons I disliked SNS.  My first experience with SOF was @ HQ with 15 sec respawn or something.  Although I died a lot, I had no problem waiting.  It gave me time to collect my thoughts and lay a few ppl to rest!!!

yes it is true
playing a ctf must have a good respawn time like 10 -15 sec
when i play it online like that i does have fun..
but sometimes when i making a server here in sns ppl does rel get on if i put 10 secs respawn

yeah the long respawn time makes you edgy and anxious to get back in the game
and the low flag limit makes you have to work harder at capturing the flags quickly..
so shizz has some great points there

but sometimes sof is fairly enjoyable
last week friday the ctf that we had was good but the limit was too much
but it was compensated by the size of the map
bourbon sensei and shihan was deadly on the other team..

I have to say i get to hate sof at sns cus of some lame ass pple. All they want to do is kill eachother and forget about getting the flag. I remember when me and evan was playing and we was the only ones actually going to get the dam flag.  :mad:

hmmmmmm i agree eh for the match to be enjoyable but i can't handle 15sec spawn time.......dat just not right........nun more than 10secs....and CTF must not be more than 5-8.......and Deathmatch MUST NOT HAVE PICK UPS and health packs should always be present

I could kill allyuh now....but i agree with shizz.....it the the respawn time and the pickups which severely hamper the gamin experience. In the case of the former, a low respawn time can lead to ppl camping out @ popular respawn locations in order to get frags....result highest fragger = nastiest camper. WRT Pickups, well.....the man with an MP40, some cover and an incline is God.....and we are all roadkill.

So adjust the settings, and the volume, before u sweat your SOF. Or you can grow a brain cell and play MOHAA....okay sorry about that but i couldn't control me.

The best way real men could play sof is to install MOHAA  
But he's got some good points there. Either that, or beat the game home 1st before you got multi. Instinct will make you choose those desirable settings.

we played games with on respawn and still found victory...
how is this possible you ask???  Such trains team work, and tactical skills; touch the flag/ as opposed to capture.  

For everyday play we go for 5-8sec respawn time.  We focus more on formation flag offence and defence.

With the tournament reg. 15sec rt, we train the ability NOT to get killed!

You need all the games to be a rounded player...
DC has training games which go on 300+ mins, our endurance is high along with well specific tasks and flexible positions... (BK knows what we talk about)

You might find a certain game frustrating or going no where, that is where you work harder and push to your limit!

i also agree, but isn't a fairly long respawn time a default anyways? i think the ability to see your opponents actions during this time is a fairly underused and potentially crucial feature. but i suppose picking crappy settings would fit with the inability to recognize the wisdom behind the good settings.

that is how i find they should play the game .
i does hate when ppl play the smae maps over and over i does hate that sh!t

what i wish is that people would play the package escort mode!! i remember once in sns and i suggested that the people present try it and we had alot of fun. of course alot of people complain about the lack of respawn although 6 of us who understood had a good time. i have never seen that mode played since.

and yet people play team elimination all the time!!!
team elim is fun but the objective based one had alot more tension involved.
play this mode ppl, it is fun.
