Dread as much as I liked Akira (having the orignal VHS and thing) I have to go with Naruto, but its not too fair in my mind as Akira is a movie and Naruto just keeps throwing imaginative and creative works or art that I have come to love.... maybe if there were a series based on Akira it could tip the scale back...

Well i can see by reading your comments that you guys like naruto but if i were to compare Naruto and say Sura no toki.
Now what would be your fav Because both are a good series

sadly though i have always professed the joy and love for old school...i must now join the ranks of those who take the side of new rather the old....though naruto has earned his props i must say that i probably would have voted for akira hid i actually seen it...it's sad i know...for someone who seems to love anime i haven't seen akira. well i actually don't care. so in light of my situation i go with naruto

I don't care who says what! Think about it this way, with out Akria...not Naruto. I just rather the old school, hard core anime anyday (problem is that not much anime fall into that catagory)
