I’ma give it to you straight. Fable was an utter disappointment. And what added to this was all the promotion, all the million times you heard this game has been in development for the last four years, and the greatest thing that tipped the scale was the fact that this is a Lionhead studios game. Peter Mollineau (hope I spelt is name correctly) spearheaded this title. All this added to the anticipation of what they dubbed the “Zelda killer”. Yeah right! Here goes
The game is way too short, on my cousin’s first play he beat it in 11 hours, on my first play I beat it in 7 hours.
The game is too Europeanized, the voice-overs are all European, too many British accents!
The graphics are simply horrific! The characters look horrible!
The sound is ok,(5.1 dolby)
The controls don’t feel intuitive, they feel too simplistic (yes, I know I am splitting hairs on this one)
All in all the game does not deliver on any level. This game cannot sell on its own strength and hype only pushed it so far.
This ranks over hybrid heaven as a great disappointment, atleast hybrid heaven brought in some unique gameplay to the mix. This brings nothing!!
The animations are terrible!
I wish I had more hands so I could give this game 4 thumbs down!
This game gets a 5 out of 10 cause its nothing more than average!
Try this game for an hour before you buy it. Trust me!
