Yes. Come this weekend, or the weekend after, I shall make the trek to Movie Towne and take in this movie. From what I hear, this movie is serious kicks. Now, while I did anticiapte this movie for some time now ever since I saw "Bride of Chucky", I'm curious as to how Chuckie and his bride came back. I mean, when last we left them, his Bride died giving birth, and Chuckie....well, he dies at the end of nearly ALL his movies, but he died anyway.
Still, looking forward to seeing this movie.
And, I must say, that Britney Spears ending for the trailer was pretty damn funny.

Well, I got to see it, and unfortunately, I'd have to agree....this movie was definitely NOT worth the $35 admission fee.
I'm too lazy to write a full review of the movie right now, but perhaps a list of my gripes with the movie would suffice until then:

BE WARNED....POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

1. Probably my MAIN gripe with the movie was the 'Seed of Chucky', Glen. What I expected was a chip off the old block....you know, a little brat with a knack for killing without remorse, just like his pop. What I got was a puppet who not only questions his parents' penchant for killing, but his own sexuality as well. Halfway throughout the movie, he can't even decide whether he's a boy or a girl. On top of that, he speaks with a very ghey English accent. WTF?!

2. Tish having second thoughts about killing. Geez. It was GENIOUS the way she and Chucky teamed up to take out that stagehand in the beginning of the movie. WHY, oh why, couldn't you have built on that throughout the rest of the movie, instead of making Tish the newest member of 'Psychopaths Anonymous'? Yee-GADS.

3. Since WHEN does Chucky put up with so much CRAP? I swear, for a killer doll, he has a hell of a lot of patience, what with a son/daughter that can't even decide just WHAT the heck he is. I thought Chucky was 'Kill now, ask questions later.'

4. Jennifer Tilly couldn't TELL that it was a real head, and not a stage prop in the studio? Horror Department or not, that's just.....dumb.

5. Glen and Glenda five years later. No. Just....NO.

Other than that, it went pretty all right.
The other movies were better, though, IMO.

Well all yuh jus bus my bubble dey i was all excited to go an see this "seed of chucky" as pertaining to being a "horror" that i can laugh at some girls....

But firstly i hearing is a mc comedyWTMC!
plus chucky the pshycotic killer doll have a gyay son WTMC!!

Disappointment though i thought it would have been better...

This was one funny as hell movie. I'd never laughed so hard in a while. Glad I downloaded it instead of paying money in any for to see it. I'd have been awfully pissed.

God damn. With the exception of Imperial, you ALL lose at the English language. And considering that I paid money to see this, I am pretty P.O.ed. Chucky, don't EVER disappoint me like this again. Just do what you do best.

I think that they should reclassify most current horrors as comedies, and comedies as horrors...

Well, if it's any consolation prize, I got a serious kick out of playing 'the Last Bounty Hunter' in the Movie Towne arcade. Seriously fun game for an sharpshootin' outlaw like me. Now, if only I could figure out how to shoot people WITHOUT killing the hostages...

you ppl sound as if you were expecting a totally kickass movie. Let's face it , all these horror movie franchises have overstayed their welcome. In the beginning they were great but over time the crap for production value became apparent. I still wonder why people get their hopes up over the new chucky and friday and elm street movies , when you just know they're gonna be sucking major ass. What's worse is that ppl go and PAY $35 to go see this garbage in movietowne. Whatever happened to a $10 double feature in globe..
