For the booklovers out there
the new bookstore in west mall, rik or something, has the fifth installment of steven kings dark tower series "THE WOLVES OF KHALA"

very very highly anticipated, in trade paperback special edition.
Got mines over the weekend!

^_^

Along with a great selection of Anne Ric'es vampire chronicles!

But sorry i bought the last pandora and tale of the body thief left.(yay for me)

i now have the entire coollection except for vittorio.

They are all superb!

And they tie in nicely with the tales of the may fair witches.

i got lasher , gonna get me merrick and taltos soon.

My faves in the chronicles are
The Vampire Armand! (such a sicko vampire! w000t)

Then Pandora tied with blood and gold, love pandora and love marius.

Then Blood canticle is very sweet.

Memnoch the devil, this book, although not my fave, is probably THEEEEE most compelling book in the series. this book SINGLE HANDEDLY RENEWED MY FAITH IN GOD. its that good.

Havent read tale of the body thief as yet.
Queen of the damned was of course great but there are better.

Iam dreaming for a tale on khayman, one of the originals, actually he was the third one ever made, so hes as powerful as akasha ooo.

I've read most of these except Artemius Fowl and Star Wars. Now re-reading the Wheel of Time series, got books 1-10, and have Sword of Truth series 1-7 (there are 9). King's Dark Tower series I've read except the seventh book The Dark Tower.
Drizzt Do Urden is Dungeons & Dragons, read some of those from RA Salvatore, fairly light reading.
George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, is probably the best series out right now, not for kids, and central characters are not spared from being killed off.
Also try Terry Brooks' Shannara series.

The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.

I am reading the Alchemist at the moment.
Then I am going to start The Life of PI.

The Da Vinci Code was pretty entertaining too.

Read the Artemis Fowl books. Girl's name.. heh, that's funny.
Read a couple of the Star wars books, I Jedi, the series where Leia preggers with the twins and there's some lizard that cancels out the force, cyah remember the name.

Read all of Frank's Dune books, and most of Brian's books too (they arent as good and the latest trilogy sucks balls). Frank writes on so many levels it's not even funny.

Read all the Pratchett Discworld books too. Now that's funny.

Dune.. really.. wouldn't mind that at all woudl prefer the sci fi remake miniseriesthough. As for akasha crixx... she not that bad.. one of the twins did take her head... anyways I have Vittorio.. it was ok... Queen of the damned was better by far... I have to read menmoc the devil still I got sidetracked by Deception point by Dan Brown (Author of: The Da Vinci Code, EXCELLENT BOOK READ IT IF U HAVEN'T ALREADY). I have to get the rest of the vampire chronicles...

Correction, Leia Organa Solo had twins for Han after what is now known as episode 6. The trilogy I read is Hier To The Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command written By Timothy Zhan.

She also had a third child, a son named Anakin.

Read some by each, actually. Went through a bunch of the Xanths, and the Adept series was by Anthony I think, but that one kind of sucked.

Read all of the discworlds, some of the Johnny Maxwells, some of the Truckers diggers wings, read Good Omens as well. Last one I read was Going Postal, I got the impression that he didnt really know exactly where he wanted to go with that one. It was still a decent read though.

I played the old Xanth game and the first Discworld game.

Both are abandonware now I think, the Xanth game was pretty sucky in terms of graphics and having to act out the puns. The discworld one... pretty much the same, but the puns are worse and the graphics a little better.

Protojoe never really read Jordan, last I heard it was up to 11 books in the series, is he done yet? I hate to get part of a series and then have to wait on the man to write the next one.

But I know a fella who used to order the books and then pray to the mail gods that he's get it in 4-6 weeks.
