i am currently looking forward to buying a tv tuner card locally.
i was wondering waht cards u recommend i buy
but it has to be available locally cause i gonna be buyin a 6600 gt soon
main reason i buying card is to use monitor as tv to play my ps 2
and capture some matches between which will be uploaded to gatt sweat reports.
so if u know of any locally and where i can buy them let me

Not where to buy them.

If all you want is to use your monitor as a "TV" for your console then you do not need to buy a TV Card at all.

All you will need is a Video card with Video In.

Nvidia calls this VIVO. (Video In Video Out)

ATI has ViVo in their ALL in Wonder products but those also come with TV tuners so they are expensive no mc.

An Nvidia card with VIVO will be the best bet price wise. Much less problematic than a full blown TV Card as well.

Not to mention it will give the best response time since it is directly on your video card and doesn't have to run data across the pci bus.

I'd recommend the MSI GEFORCE 6600 GT 128MB DDR3 VIVO DVI (About US$194.00)

hmm i was gonna buy this msi 6600GT...but too much ppl tell me to stay away from MSi ....althou they couldn't give me a good valid reason to.
