Apparently Vole has decided or at least it seems vole has decided they needed a more all round product with the next flexbox. Apparently they thought a round like name would do the trick have a read:

MICROSOFT'S Xbox 2 will almost certainly be called Xbox 360, it now seems.

Gaming press SPOnG said hacks attended a marketing briefing in Soho, where consumers were pitched different marketing campaigns for the machine, which is due to launch in time for Christmas.

Slogans apparently mooted include 'Xbox 360: Amplify Yourself!' and 'Xbox Live: Menage a Billions'. Fantastic.

The story suggested that the proposed marketing campaigns were bland and unimaginative.

With security in its software being a major talking point, it seems that Microsoft might want to consider the security surrounding its marketing events too. µ

All yuh dont believe it until u see it. Cus i does remember how many different names all the consoles had before it was released. That 360 thing is unbelievable in my opinion. Just seems like too much of a departure from X boxe's well known name.

Stop spamming ppl, please reply with something more than the above TWO 1 liners! U have to understand that Xbox 2 will be a defacto namestay, however u need at the same time to make it different so u can use catchy phrases or slogans. Heck its all marketing really.
