Ok following mods orders

But can some one tell me

1 who they think is top tier besides ryu ken and akuma

2 Why is street fighter 2 harder than 3 hehe ( ok i may be alone on this one)

3. HOW D hell do u beat gill with necro or twelve

I think dudley is a top tier killer and yun but then again everyone in dat game good (except chun li mUHAHAHAHA)

On a serious note help a noob out with some necro combos to beat that red and blue pop sicle

i beat gill with twelve by tunrind into him. BTW this game sucks. the entire anniversary game SUCKS

Super Sagat still owns as does Super Guile , and CE(Dash) Bison but anyway i've only really played Super Turbo so I can't help you there.

Third Strike is a more "slow paced" game but involves much more strategy than usual SF games, a couple things to note

1. Throws are your friend , especially when there's no other viable option and you're in close enough. Use them as wake up moves also.
2. Use links instead of combos to set up your Super Move. Links would be in this case would be a cancellable normal ( e. g ken's crouching mk into Super Move)

Let's see Necro , can't really help you as much with him as i would like to. I can give you some bread and butter combos though.

Super Art 1
D+LK , HCF + LP , Super Art 1
HCF + HP, DP + FP xx Super Art 1

Super Art 2
HCF + HP , Super Art 2

Super Art 3
B+LK , MP xx Super Art 3
Universal Overhead (MP + MK), Super Art 3
B+HK, D+ LP xx Super Art 3, DP + LP, DB+ HP

B  = Back  D = Down DB = Down Back DP = Dragon Punch Motion HCF = Half Circle Forward

thanks there i know what u talkin bout .. oh and d man who say the game is crap i tend to disagree. Oh and the twelve turnin into him, the man does masssacre me and i does only get n e thing goin when i turn into him but that is usually 1 round. Throws wotless to him i ffine he does ALWAYS tech hit me . D best way to beat him is parry and simple combos like d ones u give me thanks again

I always confuse twelve and q.

With Necro, you have to out poke good ole Gill dhalsim style.  He does have long limbs for by passing that annoying ass c lk c mk sh!t that Gill does.  When at pointblank range, try to use your supers.  Gill likes to poke from up close.

yes horse but gill real stink dread dies why i coulda beat him with every one else. D hard ting is that I dont like necro and twelve (and chun li but she does throughly wash gill) so it hard to change from a shoryuken style to a jook jook counter style

Adaptation is the key to victory.  Either that or just set the difficulty WAY DOWN!!!!!

Learn Necro's range and see what SA works best.  I'm now getting into this game myself thanx to rb so I can only show you how to beat him with Shotos, Dudley and probably makoto.

I've given up on that and dead set on learning Alex.  Gay name, cool character.

Horse dudley and makoto is real killers all of dudley five hits real stink and easy. Look into yun as always he is a stink mc

but i understand d adaptation i beat it with everyone besides them 2 and it will take some continues to get used to thanks again

My main players are Ken , Makoto and more recently Yun, I also play Urien, Chun Li and a little Alex. Ken is probably the most complete character in the game , he can handle any situation.  So far locally Bob has the best Alex I've seen. He's been popping up on the forums as of late , maybe he can give some tips.

Alex is a real killer 2 if u hot at parryin he is d man to play. Hugo not as dread but he decent enough

Parrying isnt everything in this game , there are situations where parrying can leave open to more damage.

I understand that and believe me i agree EXCEPT that i agree that if u know u only able to parry the first blow doh bother. But if u can parry everything it can help u out alot especially with men like dudley but more so gill in the he fireball and his axe kick does do real damage and give him real supers but they both eaasy to parry so is no longer super food for him but rather for him and for men like alex who will  distress u after a one it parry is like whoa. I must say again if u cant parry a full ting doh get excited

To correct a something in the thread.  Ken's c mk xx SA ?? is a cancel and not a link.  Dudley's f RH, SA 1/SA3 is a link and it damages like wow too.

I've been trying this thing rb told me with ken and SA3 recently and even back then I realized this thing needed certain conditions to work.  What I'm speaking of is Universal Overhead , SA 3.  The opponent has to be

1  Almost outside the move's hit range
2)roperly timed on wakeup making it hit as late as possible.

I've seen a very skilled Alex player in the arcade at CC8 recently as well.  He was about to be chipped to death by a Machine Gun Blow a la Wong vs Daigo and the man calmly parried the first three hits, got fed up of waiting for Dudley finish his move and ripped out a MOTHER F#$%!N HYPER BOMB!!!!!!!!  GAME OVER.  This was double impact btw but still, it was a sight to see.

Number three will get you owned my uppercut reversal happy shoto players.

Just a little something I wanted to say to all of the geniouses out there who assumed that this game was going to be a collection of EVERY Street Fighter game that ever came out, and assume that it 'sucks' because it only has Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike:

With the exception of Alpha, just HOW many Street Fighter games DID you want them
to put in the game? Let's take the Street Fighter 2 series.
Would you necessarily want them to include ALL of the following?

- Street Fighter 2
- Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition
- Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting
- Street Fighter 2 Turbo
- Super Street Fighter 2
- Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

Yeah, as if you'd play each and every one of them as if they were a different game.
NEWS FLASH! They're NOT. They are all slightly tweaked versions of the same FUGGING game. If you've based your rating of the game purely on how many games you've got, you need serious help, as well as a severe beating from Brain Lara's cricket bat. The same goes for Third Strike. Just ask yourself: 'How feasible is it for Capcom to put eight copies of the same game on the same disc?'

Well, it's not.
Just contend yourself with the fact that you're getting the most recent versions of those games, and you should be happy.
The exclusion of Alpha, though, is just BLASPHEMY.

What about Street Fighter 1, you may ask?
Why unearth the living dead? That game sucked, died and was buried by Capcom.
End of story.

So, before you post, for the love of God, don't say that the collection sucks purely because you were expecting a MEATWAD of games when you only got two. Your gripe should be with how the game PLAYS, not how many you get.
Quality over quantity.
That's the way it is, and should be.

i'm getting to this, actually it is quite feasible. every copy of street fighter and the 3D ones too. EX3 was'nt even on a DVD, its a CD and its about 250 megs if i remember correctly. so it is possible, the problem comes in where porting the gabillion versions of this game from one source to another where everything has to be remapped. it takes more time. But i am really dissapointed at capcom for the low quality of this game, No remastering of the art work or anything of that type. This was hurrily tossed together. its not even street fighters 15th birthday. Yo, chill with your warnings son, i aint got no beef with you, keep note that you are more than welcome to BAN me.
