The GL, Euro+ has been sold!

The new owner, Beverly, will be taking over as of this month.

We wish her all the best and hope that she continues the legacy of gaming excellence that has been set by the cafe!

well I have a lot of those questions myself. I met her once, she came down to attend Jacque's funeral. Don't know what direction she will take the place. I know there was talk then of doing a food place and a beer garden on the side. Not sure if that's still on the cards.

She is having some new person sent in a month or two to evaluate the scene and really take charge. If any upheival is coming, I'm guessing it will be when he arrives.

What can I say?
The end of an era has finally come to pass.
Although I can't really say that I am a frequent person there, I still enjoyed coming over there and chatting with the random GATTers that happened to be passing by.

One thing still lingers on my mind though....
What brought about this decision to sell Euro+?
I can imagine it wasn't an easy one to make.
