Which Final Fantasy do u like?

final fantasy 7 was the first 3-d final fantasy for the ps and it's storyline is purely amazing and the movie "advent children' coming!!!!!!!!!!!

i know that its the darkhorse in the family but i really enjoyed FF8 the most of all. true 7 was good but the ending was the most confusing ever. 8 was highly dramatic and was more role than play with a not so likable lead character but he was more deep than cloud. a person with issues ( to the verge of being almost goth) who still manage to save the world.

truly i found the ff series linear and easy FF7 was the best of all of em though

if u want better rpgs
i suggest Chrono Trigger for classics or Suikoen for newer age gamers

also the star ocean series was very impressive.....

I'm sure I've played through almost every squaresoft RPG title ever made and honestly FFVII was the best for me personally.

Chrono Trigger was EXCELLENT. It was my #1 RPG, until I played Seiken Densetsu 3, which I might add was a major graphical achievement for an SNES game. Personally the story in CT was sub par and definitely doesn't compare to the story in FFVII.

StarOcean is one of the games I am yet to get into, but it just doesn't grab me as much as a FF title would, but I'll still play it none the less. Excuse me for being a FF fanatic, but I honestly love the series for story, gameplay and graphics in an RPG.

i dont think that they made it with the intention of having a sequal. cause the ending takes play thousands of years AFTER they save the world. the only reason Square is making a sequal is that its profitable enough to do so.

now i know RPG hard cores hate FF topics simply for the newbie factor ( its like a samuria x nut in the anime section ) but dont rip FF it might but over rated but its a good series never the lest.

Chrono Trigger is good but its has its weaknesses which make some FF better than it. Suikoden 1 was a weak title and being Konami they still released a second which far surpassed the first. i know of more ppl who played Suikoden 2 then played suikoden 1 to see how the memory card data affected the game.

if you want to talk about genre defining RPG you talk about seiken dentsu series which lay the ground work for the games like Chrono trigger, grandia and its unique battle system oh and Vagrant Story which used its adaptaion if the Parasite Eve system. maybe the best RPG (certainly best looking) on the Snes was Terranigma from Enix.

never the lest there will always be a better rpg and with RPG budgets getting bigger and bigger im sure well see alot more FF in the future.
