here's a lil tip.....

bck fwd dwn A+B has more uses than just triggering a super. It also can cancel many combos as well as holds.

As a number of other moves can. But in about 3-4 years I never saw someone get away from that move without actually jumping up or back.
And I worked in an arcade, where I saw ppl beat that game in 4 mins.

Waggy, I'm telling you that I HAVE defended against the play that you call cheap.  Think I'm kidding, try it on me.  If you play in the arcade long enough, it's kill or be killed.  I'm not going to let someone with one foolish little tactic stop me from winning.  Thus, I have learned to counter  ALL characters.

Anything could be called cheap.  The question is if you are good enough to shut down a particular tactic.

Some insight on this cheapness of one of galford's tactics:-  My Name must be Zankuro because I blocked both on numerous occasions.  How do you ask?  There is a considerable recovery lag time between when the dog is sent so that a slash can't  come out immediately afterward.  Also, to be taken into account is the animating frames of when the low attack is initiated, animated and the hitbox becomes open.

This means that both attacks CANNOT hit you at the same time.  Facts.

It's impossible to block both a shin slash (low) and that potong (high) at the same instant. it's phisically impossible. Only Zancs can block both high and low at the same instant.
