In you opinion what is the Best Internet Browser??

In my opinion Opera is the best along with Mozilla Firebird, due to the emense functionality and their efficiency over IE.

One feature I love is the ability to have numerous web pages as different tabs, therefore the taskbar doesn't look cluttered and filled of junk.

But for me what set Opera, particulary the 7.1v, away from Mozilla is the ability to save my session and open back the same pages if I accidentally close my browser...Opera 7.1 iwmc!!

I have mine set to open last page viewed when opened - works for the situation you described B_Sensei. Netscape is based on older builds of the Mozilla core - you should give it a go MisterX.

crixx myie2 have that popup blocker an thing as well built in. also myie2 comes bundled with everything, firefox requires you to download additional plugins just to have a good functional browser. a man hadda dl firefox, then he hadda download a setta plugins after, just to get what myie2 offering in 1. what go happen to the regular john doe who do even know how to install plugins an thing? what happen to the john doe who just wanna download a browser and call that george?

That is d biggest pain in d ass ting there alone. And d major reason why I still on IE...

Simply put, I develop web applications, and FireFox doesn't always play nice...and quite frankly, I'm not willing to spend the extra time to figure out why...works on the first go in IE...so I can't be arsed.

Honestly with a built in html editor, pop-up blocker, instant access to webpage policies and cookies, tab browsing (easier to get through multiple forums at once), simple download manager, awesome customability and a sense of faster page loads Mozilla simply fits my needs. Plus it's FREE

Also if you used IE no need to export and import your bookmarks they're there.

yeah i does be jumping up with scripts all day, i does see real drama in truth. ie iwmc, most of the world uses it!

I see very little difference in load time between IE6 and Firefox, and pop up and adware blocking is never a problem....... IE6 still best for me !

ok honestly,
i see nothing wrong with internet explorer from microsoft
again i am not a computer expert
but it works fine for me and i can do what i want with it
i have not tried any other explorer in great depth
but i have been using microsoft ie for yrs now with success
so for that the best explorere for me is microsoft

the wonderful thing about it is that both are free.

Firefox and MYIE2. So use 'em both

I always have them installed just in case one decided to play up in it's mc.

One thing that Firefox has above myie2 is a built in download manager that can resume sensibly. So I use that most of the time.

Firefox can't work with NTLM though so it can't function in a corporate environment through proxy. (at least I haven't found out how, may have a plug in to fix that) MYIE2 immc @ work.

They both kick ass, but firefox does have the lead.

Like rampage said, plug ins can make it do wonders but you need to know where to find 'em and install 'em and john doe will catch ass to do both.

If you are a techie and could keep up with it, firefox iymc.

if you're a simpleton but want better than plain vanilla ie6, myie2 iymc!

in any event, install 'em both...anything else is just uncivilized. lol
