To borrow a thread from our Jamaican counterparts across @ the GAJ forum, hypothetically speaking.....if you were a GATT member, what would you expect from the association?

regular sweats and tournaments (been going ok so far)
a sense of espirit de corps (so-so)
an identity that is different from specialist peyongs (poor)
association with good reputation in the community (poor due to some bad apples)
sharing and associated interests (ok)

more nations in carigamers (not really gatt related but yeah )
i also have some ideas site related that i going to employ, but it doesnt have much to do with gatt, more carigamers related. gatt done have a good site, active community, regular sweats an thing.

ohh and perhaps we can start back charging new members to join gatt. that way we get money to hold bigger and more frequent tournaments, and perhaps upgrade a few of the gatt gl machines here and there. i doh think people go mind paying a lil bit of money every year.

also the gatt tshirts need a bit more on it, currently it only have the gatt logo in the top left of the jersey, a lil more stuff on it will be nice, and also more tshirts selling. i sure it have real gatt members that mustbe doh even know gatt have jerseys available. and what i said above about a bit more on the shirts, perhaps we can have different type of gatt related stuff on it. i mean like gaming and tech related stuff on the jerseys. we do have tech freaks, and we do have game freaks, we do have a hybrid of both. but hey i doh mind having a seperate gatt tech jersey from a gatt game jersey. one jersey go have sarge on it saluting , next jersey go have ATI 0wnz j00 on the back or something. you get my point hopefully

gatt already have tons of servers due to carigamers, the servers are kind of empty, but i go fix that soon with real good advertising of them. also going to fire up a gatt web ring, for owners of sites and the carigamer associations to put up. that way people can move from carigamer site to site. all them thing i go do though, have nothing really to do with the rest of you'll. time this week done i go have that up and running.

oh and also we need more sweat reporters man, i made a lan party reports section on the main site, and i put up all the past reports i see posted in the forum (i left out the 2 line reports). now back in the days we use to have real detailed play by play reports with full roster an everything. i doh see that happening anymore , when a man miss a sweat he use to spend a good few minutes reading about it. we use to have sweat reports out as soon as a man reach home from sweat, time you reach home you going home to see a sweat report done iymc. ofcourse not everyone really want to maco game scores from people playing and what not but one or two people can just pay a bit more attention to what goes on in the gl and fire up a nice report.

also back in the days (jeeze i starting to sound old ), we use to take the multiplayer game logs for the sweat, and run a stats program and it will generate detailed clear stats of what went on. so we know who had top score, who kick who arse, who like what weapon etc. all it requires is the server machine to save logs. so at the begining of sweat someone go on server machine and delete the old log, start up the game it will generate the log and you take that log at the end of sweat, run the app, and bam!!! ahh the good ole days

also we need a lil dedicated sweat photographer , every sweat to take some pics, so we can add to the album. shizz took some video clips an stuff, which is nice

boy in every big association they go always be bad apples, that doesnt spoil the association reputation in the community really. is the people who associated with the bad apples that might hate gatt or whatever, but thats them problem. trinidad is a big country, carigamers is a big region...what i trying to say is the hell with them

Inter GL Tournaments, Whose gamers are really the best. Lets fire up those machines man !!!!

Game play is the only sure way for expansion and for local and foreign sponsors to get involved.

I gonna get on sweaty and push those issues hard. Good post to flippant and defcon! contributions iwmc. Tshirts, sweat reports, server stats and more. Androsovic promise to setup de dedicated servers iwmc. Go be log files galore if he gets that done soon.

Just a lil note on sponsors. We already had local and foreign sponsors for our past events. What sponsors want, is figures...big ones. stats and demographics.

I think the Inter GL Tournament thing can get a bit too malicious. "We better than them-ism, we again'st them-ism".

What we plan to do this summer with the national tournaments under Caribbean GameCon, is to use the GLs as preliminary locations. Rather than foster bitterness between them this should keep them together, towards a common goal. suhuweat iwmc!

there is a group thats under gatt, named B.L.E.S.S.E.D. thats set out to do just that. go around in schools and stuff like that. is only a matter of time before the group hit your school , you can check out the site @ http://blessed.ultra-gamers.com

thats why i made a lan party reports section on the main site. go to www.gatt.co.tt, look on member menu on left you will see lan party reports, and even self we have a sweat report forum and upcoming lan forum.

You are going to need a good pay system if you impliment this yearly fee !!

regarding the TV advertising , u nobody here working in TV6 could sneak in a little www.gatt.co.tt before d news start. just a one sec frame.

we need more advertsing take me too long to find GATT. u know how much game i could have been playing after school.

oh we hadda push something for the anime city Gamers galore up in there.

GATT is big rite now but ppl dont actually turn up for d sweats doh really take it serious, even though the prizes are big.
I have no suggestions for that problem.  

think it has something to do about the gls, they are kind of seperated really need something to bring the GLs together.
Once a year big sweat like the GameCon but instead a maximum area three day sweat. but that is another money problem.

hopefully the yearly fee and sponsors will come in, and hopefully it will have more serious gamers.

Some people want to do a tv spot on sweats.

A few more posters will kick brass. Will get cracking on that too.

Spoke with the Anime City ppl a few times, a good bit of gatt members are involved with the event, some more synergy needs to be developed there. Also, those Heroes guys.

the GameCon gonna have to be a "bringing together" event in spirit. Is for charity after all.

Giving all the GLs a good bit of the action spread out over the entire summer at their locations rather than moving around machines is easiest.

Maybe you can contact The Malls in town and set up a 6 machine display, posters ext. with men sweeting and put 2 or 3 people to answer questions........The stores that sell games might help......Put a couple of HARDCORE MOD Machines YEH !!!!!

I jus leave school, but i still want my GATT jersey.  For the ad if GATT wanted they could have a yearly members fee.  I for one wouldn't mind payin $100 a year to GATT.(It's not that much money to spread over a year)
