Who cares about lighting at this point its still in development.

the Legend of Zelda has finally taken the dark twist i wished for ever since i first saw the original gamecube tech demo of Link and Ganon.

er hem....I kinda enjoyed the Windwaker's take on the Zelda series. It was original and they did not try to out do Ocarina of Time (Which next to a Link to the Past is the best Zelda game), but they created a title which was entertaining and engaging. If the graphical changes made by the developers were not to your liking, they still kept the excellent story, playability, and game format that makes the Zelda series a beloved title for adventure gamers everywhere.

As for the new Zelda? Looks like Ocarina of Time meets Lord of the Rings....i like very much.

I never diss Wind Waker .In fact i never even get to play it. For some reason it reminds me of A Link to the Past .But i like the dark look of the new zelda game though.

I really don't see how the Windwaker might remind you of A Link to the Past, their both very unique games.

But i do agree with you regarding the attitude of this series. Dark = good
