Um i seemed to have misplaced my notes on this stuff.
Could someone do some l33t googling and find me some sites, hoepfully with pdfs on these.
Especially on the uni directional SOUND  EMITTER (NOT UNI DIRECTIONAL MICROFONE).

i can find the warp drive info, thas no sweat really. would love some  banter on it. Oh i would like to find back the pdfs i had on teleportation as well

and thattt most definately i would like to chat about.

the princaple of warp travel is to decrease the distance between the ship and its destination by "warping" space with powerful energy fields , so even if you can't go faster than light , with enough warp you would be able to travel faster because you only have to cover a tiny fraction of the distance between you and your destination . Its all theoritical or... theoretical ... . or........

since relativity is a THEORY , if we were to be able to travel faster than light AND slow down time, time might slow down to the point that it will travel backwards

or

you find something called "negative mass" [ not anti matter ] which would create a thingy in the fabric of space time and screw things up real bad, if you went into the thingy you would be able to travel in time and space

or you fly to a black hole, get squashed , and when the micron sized lump of your body comes out on the other end you have traveled through time..

or you can hire supper man to push the world backwards reaaal fassss

*sigh*
i was not speaking about warp drives from star trek.

i was speaking of the ones being built by some guy in conjunciton with nasa.

and your grasp of relativity and special relativity along with how real and fictional warp drives is extremely weak.

The very real exitense of teleportation has serious implications and I would like to discuss its application, ramifications and its future but only with people who have a clue what iam talking about.

Just FYI. warp drives do not work anything like trini said.

They work by using the proportionate relation of e=mc2 to reduce mass by the application of energy.

A the first step to a warp engine has already been made, a small warp field has been generated and it has been proven to be able to reduce the mass of a fairly large object, by 17%.
Amazingggg applications. its gonna be apart of the gravatic propulsion systems on the manned mars shuttles. along with the fusion engines.

Another big topic is the use of fusion engines to replace the existing combustion engines on space ships.
It can be done but we have to many wusses worried about fall out.

So they are gonna use a three part engine.
Combustion to clear the atmosphere, gravatic drive to clear the gravity field and then finnaly fusion for the long trip.
*sigh* iam tired
work in the mornin
....
as i was saying i really wanted some links cause all my stuff is on my other machine :'(

kewl i never new such a thing existed.....

but then it would be called a gravity drive not a warp drive....

reduce mass means it can go faster but still carry the same amount of cargo. .. kewl

but where is the mass going? does it need alot of power? is it safe?

 give us some linx
