Howdy, y'all.
New Era Outlaw here with yet another important survey.
First of all, I want to thank each and everybody who contributed towards the first poll. Everyone's feedback will be taken into consideration when I unveil my plans for the FUTURE....mweheehee....

Now, according to the survey, a substantial number of GATTers are Tekkenites. Now, the most popular titles out there are Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 4. What I've noticed is, that some people like Tag, but hate 4, and vice-versa.
Now, let's see where the majority lies.
Which do you prefer, Tekken Tag or Tekken 4?

Your feedback will be much appreciated.
Till next time...

Technically i like both but i mostly enjoy "T Tag" because of it's double person feature and availability of your second character  in which you can adjust and pull out a possible win.

NEO yuh missin the real game

Tekken 3

Ghost and Mehself in a stalemate right now with both Tekken Tag and Tekken 4

What we need is a serious showdown to determine the true champion and decided our fate rests in the land of Tekken 3.

Boss game.

Tekken 4
Tekken 4 distills Tekken into a far more strategic game by increasing the potency of interrupts so it really kills people who depend on a few power moves to win the day.

that's right Exar.

You spend more time fighting and less time floating in the air taking a horizontal beating.

Juggles also take a much reduced amount of life off your bar. Like in Soul Calibur 2.

A Welcome change. I don't mind a juggle if it does marginal extra damage. It REALLY sucks when it drains the lions share of your health without giving you a fighting chance.

This accompanied with the WORST hit detection of the series is enough reason to stop playing this game.

nope foxstep

Crazy legs = SS+3+4, dash+3+4, CD+3+4, etc.

foxstep = 1+2, 3+4,3+4, f,f

or

b+3+4,b, 1+2, buffer 3+4, f,f

Tekken 3!

Tekken Tag ain't want nothing with Tekken 3. The Tag system is gay at best the way they implemented it, juggle fest to craw.

I like to fight on the ground, not in the air, thank you very much

That said, if you play it in the single mode, without the tag...it's sweet.

I choose Tekken Tag cuz it just like wrestling where u tag the person in if he real drained. J/k I choose it cuz just looks kool and I'm better at it.

Tekken 3 was great.BACK THEN.
Today being totally ****ed by one lucky Deathfist ain't the way things are supposed to be played.

Tekken 4 is far more strategic than Tekken 3.
And in Tekkn Tag's defense, the fact that you can recharge life and switch characters really fixes the problem of short Tekken 3 rounds.

If you think Tag is juggle heavy, try remembering what a serious Tekken 3 juggle will do to you.

In Tekken 3 I have not seen or experience the horrendous juggle fest that I have come to know and hate in Tekken Tag.

I don't think Namco had it in mind that the game was meant to be played horizontally.

Hence reducing the damage done by juggles considerably in Tekken4 and Soul Calibur2.

It's a "way cool" factor..but lawd, how embarassing for the other combatant. Beaten to a pulp without any recourse whatsoever.

That's not a fight....that's a BEATING!!!!

One slip and you're being parlayed with punches and kicks for the next 15 seconds.

Heihachi was the most notorious for that in Tekken 3, but he's the boss after all, so we'll allow him that. lol

Exar, when we gettin to ramp in de Tekken 4? My skills gettin lame. No one to put me to the test.

Drag Fury up the road by Euro and let's run it on the big screen till our fingers turn blue!!!

Bring BoB as bonus rounds!

Tekken 3 had unlucky shots two ways, juggles and power hits.
One Deathfist from Paul and yuh day done.
Heihachi or Jin floats you and say goodbye to half you life.

As for the challenge,it'll be about a month.I've got exams in like two weeks.I'll keep a lookout for Bryan also, don't know where the hell he disappear to.

I've seen some mean floating action with Jin, you're right.

Never pulled 'em off myself cause I dislike that sort. Like throwing in street fighter.

However, if your opponent is doing it, you had better get in on the action fast....lol
