i too is lookin for a new mobo but i not really sure on what to get so i may need a lil help in this area

and damn i didn't know these cards come in pci too

The PCI bus is not geared for the amout of information that the AGP bus can handle...

i.e. A PCI videocard is more or less crippled, the older cards don't really suffer, but it would be pointless to make a Radeon 9800 or even 9600 PCI since the PCI slot is a bottleneck

Really? a PCI slot is what?
Granted they are not at absolute power given the small difference in the amount of data processing done by the AGP port and the PCI. But they are certainly not crippled. Their shoes are just tight.
