It all depends an the type of games u like, fast, slow, button mashin, advanced combat. Personally i like the slower games more advanced in thinkin. like CVS2 but i also like SOUL CALIBER2

Street Fighter 3rd Strike - Not the double impact or whatever, but the one with Remy in it. He makes Guile look like a school kid. Plus EX LoV is like too cool. Parrying handles balance issues to an extent also.

Guilty Gear XX - I've neglected this game for too long due to my poorly founded misinterpretation of what this game was. This is the epitome of balance in fighting games. SERIOUSLY. Nothing in Tekken or SF could ever come CLOSE.

Soul Calibur 2 - Clearly THE MOST balanced 3d fighting games on today's market. Virtua Fighter comes close at times but its complexity lies within delving into the mechanics of a character intimately.

the tekken series, namely tekken 3
i had to go into reharb in order to have some control over when i playing it. when me and jarro start to play, the number of wins on each side does reset a couple of times.

That is exactly my point. You were making it seem as Tekken had no flaws/glitches to exploit which is an untrue statement.

You obviously played it too much.

I'm waiting for Def Jam Vendetta 2 but not too anxiously. DMX moved from Def Jam so it might suck.
The X man was the heart of that game IMO. Snapping necks rules.
