Actually. he made his last MK appearance in Mortal Kombat Gold for the Dreamcast. And quit stealing my line, I said it first!

Tired gameplay (even though its been changed in almost every game)

Tired storyline (the forces of evilhave nothing better to do than try to overun earthrealm and get their collective a$$es handed to them every single time?)

Tobias and Boon need to know when to quit.

Personally i liked the change for Deadly Alliance. There was an effort this time to "try" to remove the cheap attacks like uppercut and roundhouse one after the other. I was very impressed when i first saw it. All the body damage and so on. Then the ability to switch combat styles. I would really like to see the return of some of the favorites from the ULTIMATE and MK3 series like Urmac, Rain, Robot smoke and such. Variety is always a good thing.
The game does need a little tweaking though, weapon style fighting is very limited,the game should really stick to hand to hand, but it was a nice touch anyway. Im hoping they would have made a better combat plan for this version.

Wrong on all three counts my friend. Let me bring you up to speed.

1. MK has been rebuilt from the ground up in Deadly Alliance. Which practically means it plays NOTHING like the previous MK games.

2. Actually, The Deadly Alliance were trying to resurrect an undead army and THEN take over Earth, but emphasis was more on the resurrection part and the rise of the Dragon King than the latter.

3. Tobias is no longer with the MK team.

No offense, dude, but were you living under a rock or something?
