have to apoogize to Xen-Spartan for this. It was not Space War. Space was was actually the first arcade game to use vector graphics. blue lines on black background making them "look" 3D

well anyways the first video game made was in 1958. a tennis game

Shucks, anyone can see the relation between PacMan and Tekken....remember PacMan Fever?

Now, here's a real question to tickle your fancy:
What did Nintendo use to manufacture before they defected to the video game industry?

Segas president at the time, cant remember his name, wanted a character for SEGA who was like Mickey Mouse for Disney. He gave the project to SEGA who concocted the idea of SONIC. At least that what i remember....i think :)

One of the staff on my site (www.gamedreamz.com) Hedgehog Boy lives in the UK. I think he was one of the people that SEGA used as a "guinnea pig" to capture the motion of Sonic for the dreamcast system.

Here is another one for the history books. What does Tekken 4 and Pacman have in common?

They're both 2 1/2D.

Pacman is 2 1/2 because he can come from one side of the screen to the other.  That moment when he crosses and becomes invisble before reappearing on the other side of the screen is what is called the 1/2 dimension.  Pacman is the only one capable of crossing to the other side.  Also, his family have similar genetic make up thus making them equal to the Pacman himself making them the same person.

Tekken 4 plays on a 3d plane yet its sidestepping engine is VERY limited.  The hit detection is also dirt poor making what is supposed to be an advance in fighting games a mere double dragon with lots of moves.
Do more research than THAT.  I
