anyway, i think sonic probably better than mario but i only play three sonic games and mario was one of the first games i ever played so it stuck with me therefore i won't compare

They can't be classed together.
Mario can't outrun the screen and Sonic have no projectiles or a dinosaur with emphisima to ride on.

it is, i guess. i fine it is too linear. you basically rev up, let go, then watch sonic fly throug the stage, while only having to make minot adjustments throughout the way.
