How can you overlook a move like this and go with something with Nicole Kidman? Just because it is Nicole Kidman?

The oscars are filled with a bunch of idiotic aristocrats who have no idea who should be getting awards and who shouldn't.

I'm not saying that Cold Mountain would win cuz is Nicole Kidman...

Looking at the kind of movie it is, it is the type of movie that the ppl on the Academy would tend to look more towards...

Thus I don't have much hope for ROTK, as good a movie as it is...

Most ppl wouldn't like such a movie...but it is sadly the kind of movie that may v ery well win out on the big awards...

Though frankly, i just want to see PJ get his just rewards for directing the LOTR movies...that was an undertaking that cannot be ignored....

I don't think RotK deserves Best Picture but Sean Astin damn well deserves Best Supporting Actor.
And somebody get them another Best Musical Score Oscar.

Howard Shore is a musical genius.
The scores used in RotK were absolutely amazing.
They seriously deserve the best musical score award as well as best director.

What is it about?
I can't remember seeing that down here.
The only movie I saw Nicole Kidman in this year was The Human Stain.
