I am sad the journey is over.....
But happy it went out with a bang.....
Many things we did not see.....
Many things we didn't need to see.....
All in all the movie was great....
And if any wannabe fanboy wants to bitch about the the 40+ things left out......Then i pity u for wasting time of your life over things only fools care about.

what u saw at the end wasnt burning it was the 1000w bulb that hit the screen when i went upstairs they say the film fell down plus one of the projectionist was inside watching it so doh start no rumours and i tell u happy b day and yuh ignore mih :hymc: yuh b day shoulda be crap

i could barely move when it was over
it was the best movie i have ever scene
nothing can touch it nothin at all its so emotional and it captures u
u feel like ure actually theere traveling to mt doom with frodo

It was excellent. EXCELLENT!!!!
I was totally hypnotized.
But I almost knock out a little boy sitting behind me.
The little bugger was kicking the back of my chair.
The lady who was sitting next to me apparantly knew the family and told them to make him stop doing that.
He kept doing it and she saw me making a fist so she got up and told him to stop it.
After that he kicked it one more time and she turned around and he said sorry.
I was ready to knock him out and I didn't care who was vex.
But I'm going to see that movie again on Tuesday. I can watch that over and over and never get fed up just like the other 2, but this one was great.

I was thinking that Peter Jackson's next project should be a Warcraft movie.
Just a suggestion. Heh Heh

I thought the movie was great.One of the best of the year though Fellowship movie I still like best.Personally an epic story is more my thing than just "seein man get slash up".
As a novel adaptation *shrug*.A lot of the stuff left have obvious points where extended version scenes will come in.Ghan buri Ghan for instance,his character was cast.
The other changes weren't really an issue though I'd have preferred to see Aragorn's entrance into Mias Tirith handled the way the novel was but that would have made it necessary for Halbarad and co. to come in so it's no scene.

I hope finally however that Sean Astin gets his Best Supporting Actor Oscar.Acting-wise he was given the best part and the part of probably the most important member of the Fellowship and he performed spectacularly.I hope the Academy doesn't overlook him.
Haven't seen Master and Commander yet but the Oscar race is on between this and The Last Samurai.

Steups......I doubt the better movie will win. TLS might take it as LOTR takin EVERYTHING else. And the Academy has a marked prejudice against Box Office Smashers that hold many nominations and are based in fantasy.

NEITHER OF THEM WOULD GET THE LION'S SHARE OF THE AWARDS!!!

I know how the ppl who chose the awards think...they will go for Cold Mountain...

Those who doubt me, look at the noms for golden globes...cold mountain has 8....need i say more???

I would love for LOTR to clean out...but it's at this exact time, the oscar-winning movies come out, ever so softly...so I can only pray that PJ would get an award for such work as he has done here...
