Actually that is the biggest flaw I found in this game, and PSN on the whole when compared to Xbox Live. Teamwork and community not so strong. Really takes some effort to find a good game/hassle getting friends in. Once it setup tho it is really fun....

Wish more people would buy a mic :(

anyway 4 d 4hours i played wen i get up ranked up twice 4 d 2nd day in a row an now I R GENERAL lol

sad thing wit dem honor ranks it is awarded to ppl who peong d most i was watchin a girl on my frens list who btw not very good at all but yet she got d honor rank of #3 jus from peongin non stop.

so if i hadda get 1 i hadda increase my 2-4 hour playtime and start beastin more epescially on d weekends

Yea I all for the sweat this weekend, provided that my school work don't roll into the gaming hours.
Its only because I so sick these days I really playing Killzone 2 so much.
Need something to keep my head focused on because the virus aint easy at all.

KZ2 Patch 1.21

The patch includes the following:

 
# Increase of the standard points settings for Bodycount.  Should ensure longer mode on heavily populated games.
# The return of Online Bots.  Adding bots to an online game renders it ‘unranked’.
# The option to create unranked games.  Players will be made aware that a game is unranked upon joining.
# Fix to Game Search functionality so correct maps are displayed.
# Standardization of the Y-Axis controls on the HGH Scout when zoomed with the Sniper Rifle.
# Fix to Sensitivity setting where the weapon animation did not follow the reticule correctly.
# Fix for auto-aim exploit when rapidly tapping zoom/fire.
# Fix to infrequent collision issues with C4 Proximity mines.
# Fix to list of games displayed on search.
# Stability fix relating to disconnect.
# Fix to ‘Clan’ button functionality in custom game creation settings.

 

We are also working on the next updates and here are some of the areas we are exploring and investigating for the future patches:

 

    * Controls.  Seeing about giving more options.
    * Expanding on Join Game searches and options.
    * Improving game and network stability.
    * Collision exploits on maps.
    * Improvements to help play with friends.
    * More game creation options.
    * More game options for clans.
    * Fixes to Clans unexpectadly losing tournament rounds.
    * Other minor fixes.

 

Now the above does not include the DLC updates that we are working on and they wont all come straight away, but I wanted to give you an idea of the areas we are exploring.  If anything else pops up we will of course add that too  More on future updates soon.

normally i wud agree with u arc but not in this case he does suck @ kz2
his breakdown of
engineer = fail
why d hell wud u want EVERY1 to b able to place turrets dat wud just make da game a campfest as it wud hav a team of 16 engineers an 16 turrets up an ppl gettin alotta cheap kills

assault = fail
he was standing still takin shots das why he didnt notice he had double health an abiltiy to regenerate lol
assault = most overpowered in game especially with boost he needs to gg

sabo = fail
lol if he knew how to use da sabo he probaly wudn't hav said that. he probably was up in ppls faces das why they figured him out cuz when any good person play sabo u can do damage plus u got c4 he really needs to gg

Scout = fail
he never even reached scout but wrote on it wtf
sniper + spot & mark ability + magnum (once u unlock it) = king of both long range an close range combat

tbh im kinda dissappointed by this so called "BIG" kz2 announcement

they hype up 2 maps comeon stueps , hadda learn to tone down my expectations wen sony or any body sony related sayy they announcing sumting big

wat i thought it wud hav been was

1. patch to hav a party system cuz frankly playing wit friends is a hassle
2. new maps
3. Home support (this 1 was a long shot but hey godfather 2 got a space already an da game now come out,, an a dam good space too poker tables FTW!!!)

The patch is 57MB large and a full list of fixes and feature updates are below:

AI - Bots now skipping disabled/destroyed MGs in warzone when requesting mounted guns.

AI - Do not claim waypoints for the previous character when it's dead.

AI - Fixes bots getting stuck trying to arm/disarm S&D object when mission is already over.

Campaign - Fix for potential progression bug in Salamun Bridge.

Clan - User name, not users clan displayed in rankings

Clan - Winning 10 Clan Challenges causes the user to become stuck on the medal awards screen.

Controls - Lean & Peak - Zoom hold on and out of ammo it switches between regular/scope view rapidly.

Cosmetic - Blue screen tint which indicates scout cloak is occasionally enabled and will remain indefinitely.

Cosmetic - White squares on the grenade counter merge together when displayed in 1080p

Create Game - "Badge Combination" option does not work properly

Create Game - Online - "clan only" presets apply even after a player leaves a clan

DLC - DLC pack 1 - 'Steel & Titanium' support DLC - New Loading screens advertising the first DLC pack.

Exploit - Helghan Industries - Player getting out of map fix.

Exploit - Radec Academy - User is able to gain access to the roof when revived in a specific location.

Exploit - Reviving player stuck in wall collision can result in him spawning outside level

Exploit - Salamun Market - One sided wall allows people to be seen and shot from outside where they cant see or fire out

Exploit - Tharsis Depot - Player can get out of the "normal" play area and can get into some sniper/camp spots

Feature - Invite player from friendslist Feature - Join Clan Member list added.

Feature - Join Game - 17-24 players filter.

Feature - MP - Moving while seeing scores after pressing SELECT

Feature - The radar/map now has a larger radius

Feature - Three additional 'Harcore' Ranks added to the top limits.

Front-end - Add support to display more than 8 maps when creating a game /challenge/tournament

Front-end - Sorting ascending and decending ranks working better in 'Rankings'

Front-end - When in a squad, the Valor Trophy is visible in the Squad Tab, however the users rank is not being displayed on top of it.

Mods - Official tournament to be displayed first followed by custom created tournaments

Mods - Additional functionality made avalable to the in-game moderators.

Network - Server side fix for full games being displayed incorrectly.

Network - User is unable to use the 'Join Clan Member' tab due to Network Error Code 20002.

Online - File-synching with the Japanese release of Killzone 2 on the 23rd of April. 

Sound - Turret placing sound continues when killed.

Stability - Crash when synching gamestate after a full mapcycle

Stability - Hang on a screen with a blank message window just before a message appears.

Stability - Reducing the load on the server related to syncing the buddylist

Stats - If a clan wins 24 Clan Challenges and goes to the result screen, the medal acquisition screen, which normally displays when you win 25 games, will display.

Stats - Number of air-support grenades used by tacticians does not add to the stats of joined user correctly.

Stats - Number of spawn-grenades used by tacticians does not add to the stats of joined user correctly.

Stats - User sometimes does not receive 1000 valor award when winning 10 Clan Challenges.

Text - % character not displayed correctly on the creating game dialogue box after selecting to create game.

Text - If a client receives an invite from a clan which has a '$' character in the clan name, the recipient will get kicked

Text - Minor Italian localization fix.

Text - Minor Japanese localization fix.

Tournament - Game decides winner if one of the two teams doesn't spawn in
Trophies - Fix for Wargod trophy unlocking pre-maturely

Nice sweat last night guys...but all of a sudden I got 3 beeps from the PS3 and then it CRASHED...as in completely powered off. :(
I was able to turn it back on right after, but I didn't bother to go back in.

Apparently this is a software issue (from what I've been told) and not a hardware one, because I played Street Fighter 4 for
about 2 hours more, and got no issues.

Yea system crash occurs randomly..
Mine probably crashed with the 3 beeps at least 10 times..
But thats a serious crash.

A regular one would be the screen frozen and you manually power off with the ps3 power button. And light blinks a bit and the 3 beeps, and turns off.

The other type of crash would be where the screen is frozen, you touch the power button, and the lights blink endlessly,
to properly shut off the system at this point is to keep finger on power button for over 10seconds, a hard (soft) shutdown.

If that don't work, kill main back switch power. (risky: known to have caused blu-ray failure) :|

I got that second one you described.  Maybe 'power off' was not the right term, because it did shut down, but the power light
just flashed until I held the power button for a while.  So I'm not worried...yet.
