I was REPLYING to the comment that the PS3 was not the best performing and affordable bluray player on the market. I'm not allowed to reply now if I see a post that I believe is incorrect.

But you DIDNT refute my statement, yu just applied another coat of playstation fanboyism ontop of the previously mentioned stuff.

THat was so AT LAUNCH. that has changed MONTHS NOW, this report was written days ago so it should say that but instead it seems like a damn playstation commercial.
SONY themselves have released stand alone BD players for less than half the price of the ps3 at top notch quality, then there is phillips as well, probably second only to sony, these CNN people totally side step those issues.

THen the bias comment about the other consoles having a "handfull of exclusives" WTF was that???
Like the ps3 is just sh**** out awesome exclusives and the other consoles are like starving for content??? madnessss

cross 1st off know wat kinda games u wanna play an on wat system an pray to god that if u get a 360 u dont get da RROD hope u r not one of da unlucky ones.

M$ 4 me robs ppl constantly y can't i use an a normal laptop hdd like my ps3 no M$ wants me to pay a ridiculous amt 4 their 120GBhdd ($1800TT) i gettin a 500GB laptop HDD 4 my ps3 4 $1200TT, 360 shudda come with an HD drive built in but no M$ wants u to pay for d add on

ps3 for me has da games i wanna play like uncharted, LBP, R2, KZ2, MGS4, PixelJunk collection , super stardust HD, the eye of judgement also the features i want like home which i am in by the way an its awesome an b4 u get all "its a sims thing" on me let me tell u home does exactly wat it is meant to do

I've decided to go Ps3 because the risk of the RRoD for now is too much and i hate taking chances with money.

But i am certainly going to get a 360 next year once M$ work themselves out, and the economy becomes stable.

you can use a regular HD on the 360
the reason for the housing is to be more noob friendly.
and sony isnt robbing people with the massive price tag on their system?? *sigh*

PS3 owners should be aware that there are instances where Blu-Ray lens in the PS3 dies. Its probably like 1000tt to change it.

You can change the HD on the 360 BUT it can only be either 20gb or 120gb drives and you need a drive bin file in order to change it. The average noob isn't going to take the chance.
