No wonder when Beren lost his hand to Morgoth wolf he didn't ketch no horrors, cause he knew that it was a small price to pay to get Luthien's father to acquisence to the marraige.

FYI- Luthien Tinuviel would have made arwen look like one dog.

if jackson had broken the movies up into the six parts he coulda made it more explanatory and give each character their fair share of screen time but men like he like tuh rush de gun. AND STOP CRITICISING ARWEN, i agree she real sweet. dey frig up faramir baad, dey make him look evil when de only person he didn like was gollum.

an doh talk bout gollem they actually make him look like he was good for a while when he never actually was.

and one more thing ah hope dey give the lord of the nazguls a good role an doh put him as just another wraith

he was good, just a lost soul who's corrupted, he probably did try to fight his bad side but we didn't see it from our POV

yes,i understand, but isn't her screen time a bit much, like in TTT
i respect the man for making it in the first place
BUT he has commercialized to an extent
i know the audience would have lessened if he didn't
and some may never know of Tolkien's if he didn't
still, he seemed to be threading on a thin line when he made the Fellowship
and the crossed the line in Two Towers
i will not complain, i would just like some answers to why he does what he does
so stop telling me to stop complaining, just answer what i asked
then i'll stop gladly, plz

umm....6 movies???

Remember, most ppl are accostomed to regarding the LOTR as a TRILOGY...though most of us will know better...

And I mean, sit down to think about it...don't you think 6 movies would drag it on a LITTLE too much???

I mean, after a while, it will lose its appeal...3 movies is just right if you ask me....

Just to let those people who are planning to come to Movie Towne to see return of the king. Tickets are on sale for shows between Thrusday 25th to Tuesday 31st. I can't remember the afternoon showtimes, but the evening showtimes are 4:45pm and 9:00pm. The movie is 3:35 long so you do the math. I'll post earlier showtimes sometime later.

it was decent.

I haven't spoiled the movie for myself yet by watching trailers and all those making of shows.

Side Note: Tickets for christmas day are almost sold out at Movie Towne. Boxing Day is going fast, but there are still a number of tickets remaining. Tickets are at normal price. It's not $100 like that stupid rumor that has been going around says.

Just thought I'd give my impressions of the movie which I saw on Friday when I was in Miami.

It was very very good.For purists there have been changes but if you remember the lessons of TTT you won't be bugged by them.I certainly wasn't since I made sure I knew all the changes beforehand.
I don't think anyone will be disappointed by this movie.
Another note to novel readers,there are many many locations that leave perfect spots for add ins in the extended edition.In fact there're so obvious it's practically advertising.

I was prepared to come here today and tell you guys that RotK was the best movie of this year.However that thought was stomped flat last night.You've likely all heard of this movie and intend to see it but it's been sorely overlooked in the face of the overwhelming hype that RotK is receiving.
As far as I'm concerned this movie is Best Picture.Give it the Oscar.The movie?The Last Samurai.

Easily the most moving and powerful novie I have seen in years,if not ever.Tom Cruise and co did a masterful job on this.Even my cousins who never read LotR and thus were genuinely surprised by the twists in it unlike me,said it was better.
The second to last scene in this move was probably the greatest scene I have ever seen.So powerful.
You're already going to see RotK.Don't forget about The Last Samurai.

They're both great movies Smurf.I just don't want people losing Samurai while swimming in Middle Earth hype.

Its official ROTK is the best movie i have ever seen and i think almost everyone will agree
its sure to win movie of the year and i dont think that there will ever be a movie as good as this in our lifetime

Big Fish looking like a real good movie.
It looks complex but yet understandle.
I saw the poster and was like. ??ok??
Then I saw the trailer and it looked really good. I would watch it and I think I would most defnitely enjoy it.
Can't touch RotK, but we've already established that.
