Rise of Nations is the game i play i like it alot but owing to the fact that i love certain aspects to the generals also but i need to start playing the game there is still alot i need to learn in this game

Brian Reynolds designed Rise of Nations. He also did Civilization II and the SMAC games (the greatest TBS games of all time). Probably had a hand in Gettysburg, too.

now don't get me wrong generals is a good game but all the game is about is gettin money and attackin. rise of nation now makes more sense because you have to collect all the vitals for a war

a good example in generals all you have to do is build a necular missile plant and you get get infinite necus but you have to wait
but in rise of nation you need oil and knowledge to launch a necus now tell me which one is closer to a rts game

Well I never play generals but I have viewed it being played

I love that in RoNations your civilization evolves as you go along, there level or their times get more advanced also the battles are some emersive ones

So I pick Rise of Nations

me i like generals for the amgry mob but hands down rise of nation i like to spend a good week fighting a war so when i win it feels good
