Sigh again.

South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut.  Mentioned in musicals, but not in comedy.  Smart, gross AND funny.

It's absolutely criminal that nobody has mentioned "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".  Or "The Mask" which has the best live-action tribute to Tex Avery that I've seen in any film.  Plus it starred Cameron Diaz, before she decided to become a skeleton.

And nobody's seen fit to mention "Galaxy Quest" as yet.  The best spoof of Star Trek movies I've ever seen.

Eddie Murphy hasn't been funny for many years.  The last time he was funny in a live action film was in the first Nutty Professor, when the Buddy Love character was a caricature of... Eddie Murphy in the 1980s, during the Beverly Hills Cop/48 Hours/Delirious/Raw/SNL period.

The role of "Donkey" in Shrek and Shrek II is clearly atypical.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back own period.  I was going to open up a thread about them actually.  Also, Clerks is funny on levels unparalleled.  I mean it's raw, intellectual comedy to an extreme.  Anybody can curse, but to stick in some stylishly placed phrases, and cursing gains depth.

Clerks man.  Clerks.  roflmao.

Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip.  The best comedy album I've ever heard.
