i real need help wit rh9... i at a loss wit it. cant even access my 2nd hard drive

well do u acess u hd via ntfs partition,well u need to look up for the ntfs module on the net comes in rpm,or u recompile the kernel(which i do) to get ntfs..If it's not that i need more descriptions...

he talking about red hat 9 right? well i dont think linux can read windows partitions and vice versa.in fact,windows treats it as if it is non existant

Linux CAN read Windows partitions. You just have to set it up to do so if the install does not set it up automatically.

Unimatrix,

What filesystem is your second hard drive formatted in? Red Hat may not do it automatically, but then again it's been a while since I used Red Hat.
