is it possible to burn a game on a dvd cd onto a set of normal cds(spanned)
if so how is done without jackin up the hard and software

I'm not an expert, but you may be able to burn an iso image, then split it up into 700mb pieces and burn them to CDs. You'll have to copy them to the hard drive, reassemble and run it through Alcohol 120% or some such program.

Use Alcohol to create the iso, you can then split using freeware file splitters (Google search). Then reassemble using same file splitter (they will usually produce a self-executable that reassembles the file without the program being installed in a second machine). Use Alcohol's virtual drive to run DVD.
