I predict AMD price cuts all round, followed by Intel price cuts , some accusations that the competitor does not fully support 64 bit, a few new chipsets, and new Dell pcs that boast '64 bit computing' while they run windows XP 32bit .

Yup
Intel will always pwn them.
At least this way cheaper chips for all, amd and intel users alike.
(I always remain an intel whore)

Intel bringing their weak chip to the retail.
It's gonna put their die hard customers at ease that want the intel brand with the 64 nomenclature.
So they won't be wtfpwned by their AMD friends boasting and bandying the word 64bit like it was Halle Berry.
I'm glad because at least it may drive down the price a bit for the higher speed Athlon 64s.

LOL @ 1ntel.... late to the game this rounds... ah well, better late than never right? whaev, in the least I agree with pplz about hoping it drops prices across the board, that will be good for all @MD fans and 1ntellites like crixx. Wel will indeed wait to see the benchies!!! oh, I just a LONG but interesting article about Cell processors... 0_o I made a post about it, give it a look see. If this processor lives up to even 50% of its boast... we may all be buying an IBM Cell processor one of these day...
