I believe that the term wring/ring is derived from the almost circular motions you have to do on the joystick.  This almost looks like wringing in fact.  That's why you'd hear no one using the term wring a flash kick.

skupsplaks is when u like playin akuma or somting and yu hit a man like a (jump in)knee uppercut or somting like dat...member akuma uppercut does hit u bout 3 times so dem lashes does make real sounds-skupslaks
triples is fierce into uppercut (basic)
bamsee kick is when yu jump behind de man back and hit him a jump kick so he cyant block it
standin swipe is exactly dat..yu hadda be lucky more dan skilful to get dat regularly but d computer dis hit u dat all de time

Even back then, this bamsee kick you talking about was called cross ups, and it COULD be blocked as far as I could remember.

A proper Bamsee kick cannot be blocked unless u hold forward or sumthing so but yuh hadda time it as usual plus the best thign is uppercut early

You have two options.

1.  Go for a reversal uppercut

2.  Hold FORWARD!!!!!!!!  Haven't any of you tried to block it by holding forward.  I've been playing SF long enough to know what I'm talking about.
