trinidad nowhere for certain things id say just buy from baego he has ok prices on alot of things cause sometimes if your not in aposition to have someone bring stuff from away for you and you have to pay shipping and duty its best you just buy from trinidad

Asianspice..listen.is vary form place to place.everywhere dif.some is have cheaper things than others.I is check PRWE (San Juan..i tink),The Wizz & Inter PC (POS-Cipriani Boulevard)

A new place in Tunapuna also gives some good offers from what i saw so for, but not sure as to how reliable their stocks are....

Or you could just go to buyco, so that if anything goes wrong, jus cuss him up here on the forums..... *j/k*

In Trinidad and Tobago, you get Maxtor, Seagate, and Western Digital brands.   DO a research, and buy what you feel most comfortable with in these brands.  I don't see much 5400 rpm HD drives selling anymore, so you will most likely get a 7200 RPM HD.  Fast, but can run hot, so you might want a HD fan for it, no matter what brand you buy.

Speaking of brands, just say NO to anything called Fujitsu.

Western Digital - I've heard conflicting reports.  They used to be atrociously bad, but have gotten more reliable.  
IBM - had a bad batch of 40 gig drives some time ago, but otherwise OK.
Seagate - tend to be reliable.
Maxtor - Quite reliable.
Samsung - Cheap, and surprisingly good in recent times.
Fujitsu - don't waste your time.

Warranty - iffy - local warranties on HDs can be a bit problematic, as some companies don't like to replace them after a couple of months.  The most you get is one year, and probably less on the OEM stuff that sells locally most of the time.
