Soul Calibur 3 in October?

That's the word coming from French gaming site Jeuxpo. Namco will release the latest entry in the series for the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and an unannounced platform. (launch title for Xbox 2?) No other details were available, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on for E3.

Unless I hear it from the horse's mouth, I'm not going to believe it. Besides which, Namco's Japanese. Why would a french gaming site get the scoop on Soul Calibur 3 first?

European sites have been known to get scoops before US sites...it happens more often than you think.

Stil find it hard to believe that a new SC is coming out so soon. Haven't even been able to get the time to really settle into this one.

I guess we will have to wait and see....

I will be happy as long as no DOA players mysteriously wander into SC3 the way Heiachi did.

Actually if you take into consideration the previous release dates for tekken 4 and soul calibur 2 , with tekken 5 being released last year soul calibur 3 may indeed hit the arcades this year , with a console release soon after.

It's kind of hard to switch off SC2 and jump to SC3 already.  That's way too early for a release I think.  Tekken can release their games whenever they want because its more scrub friendly but THIS is too much on my feeble heart.

i agree because talks of games comin out  and they are not are really frustrating like wit gt4
