Yeah. I played VII, VIII, IX, and X. I happen to like VIII the best.

Well cool scene man, curious though, what is it about that game? I thought the game was too easy and characters a lil annoying... also that card game with rules could get painstakingly difficult... and lastly the game became cheap once you refined the laguna card into 100 Heroes... I personally think FFVII was the best second FFX (mostly cause of its beauty).

I don't know. Not to stray too far off topic, but I felt for the characters. This game was very character driven in its storyline, so is FFX. But in FFX it felt cheaply done. Almost like they were forcing you to feel Tidus' strife in terms of his love for Yuna and his father. The cast also felt very stereotypical, Auron, the quiet mentor. Almost like a Mr. Spock. Rikku the spritey young kid. That kind of thing throwed me off. In FFVIII the entire architectural feel of the place was so beautiful, and while some things looked typically "Nippon standard" odd, it didn't look FFX odd. I liked how Squall chased the girl in the blue dress. I especially liked the dream sequences, where Squall and his crew seemed to be moving parallel to the other dude, Laguna I think his name was.

I will try to make this the last post of this kind... I prefered FFVII storyline and I felt it more for their characters... esp Aeris... I really didn't want her char to bite the dust... ah well. We'll see how FFXII fares, I hear its based partly on the world from FFXI.

I doubt that.

Most FF games are self contained, meaning that other than the aeons and a chocobo or two you see no links. X-2 being the exception. And a $h!tty exception at that. I only played through to get the 100% ending that was the conclusion of Tidus and Yuna's story.

FFX was th ebest in my opinion.....But then that's only because I'm a blitzball addict.
