That was so long I didn't feel like going it all over again. Lets see what I can pick out quickly....

Don't generalise just like that. Not to mention your "smart-ass" attitude above (which wasn't only noticed by me). None of this helps your case.
I don't see what this has to do with anything. Ur just as smart ass as I am so I find this to be a moot point. Ur mentioning other ppl has no impact (since noone else said anything), however I will apologize to anyone other than synth who thinks my comments abrasive or written in an offending manner.

Dude it was merely a real world example. Again you miss the point. Besides, unless you captu...
Guy I am just saying you said its better, ur 'real world eg.' Note I never bothered to test/bench/verify your claims, why bring up my thanx of ur claim to say the same thing, its better etc. but not sufficient etc ? (this is a point u've made that the performance or RAID0 is better). Nothing more.
One more thing about the last comment on a comment on a comment about the 'a benefit I did not expect about formatting etc' Like all things in any language or book, ppl interpret things diff as is definitely the case here. U read it as RAID is faster cause u want to have somethign to blast some person u don't know about, something this thread has nothing to do with.
The way I saw it, meant it and still see it, that was a disjointed comment. Unlike u who has made a large amount of comments about my comments adinfinitum, my comment was for THIS THREAD towards the person who made the thread, its a benefit of SATA drives nothing more nothing less.
Interpret what u like but keep ur interpretation and the actual intention of my comments separated instead of putting what u want to be the correct interpretation. Since I seem to have made a gramatical blunder in ur eyes, well I mean it differently so don't take it the way u have been all this while.
As towards the original person who made this thread, sorry dude I will next time say something like, I use SATA drives cause I think they are better. They format faster RAID or NOT (this is for the angry guy who likes to comment on my comments) and I think they are a sound investment considering they are of comparative price. If u need benchmarks google it, since SOME PPL here seem to think that everything needs benchmarks, rigourous testing and someone telling u his opinion is better than someone elses.
Last I checked hardware manufacturers would not invest so much money on something they did not test/bench/burn themselves. But hey I am sure I will soon see a comment or historical (and completely a waste of a readers time) example of some hardware blunder with billions spent (heck heres one right now... can u spell the Mars landers programme by Nasa).
