They share the same facial features, but their brain waves are light years apart. If he turns out to be his father/brother/uncle/cousin or whatever I just wanna see the 4th in action. To actually see how strong he really was because he had some badass jutsu's that I would really really like to see.

and heres why -

1 appearence only two people with blonde hair duh

2 would the fourth grab some random baby with dead parents and put the kyubi in him come on if he had to it would have been his son

3 also the fourth wanted his son ..um i mean naruto to be remebered as a hero show he had previous love for him ie son lol

4 itachi and kysime came looking for quote " the fourths legacy "
no 9 tails not kyubi not naruto or the kid

the fourth is not his father omfg

naruto's parents died fighting the nine tails

the reason the 4th chose naruto is because his parents died while fighting the nine tails and naruto was probably the only baby born around the time of the battle.

The 4th needed a body to seal the demon in so he chose naruto because it owuld be symbolic.

Naruto's name is UZUMAKI , the fourths last name sure as hell isnt UZUMAKI

and the resemblance between the 4th and naruto isnt that uncanny
because if yu look at the flash backs, the 4th resembled jiraiya when jiraiya was younger

and jiraiya also happens to resemble the 3rd when he was younger.

The resemblance merely shows that the stubborn some times silly members of konoha have turned out to be the greatest ninjas.

The 4ths legacy is leaving the nine tails sealed within naruto with his bossest most bossest seal.

Itachi's mission is to capture and return the nine tails to his bosses.

well as i said its all circumstancial but  stand by it and i guess well see in the end whos right so until then

plus i do think the resemblem ance is very uncanny
cause the parent in naruto look like exact duplicates of the kids even down to things like shino shades, kibas marks on his cheek and  4th is the only other in teh whole other series with blonde spikey hair and blue eyes and didnt the 4th did fighting the kyubi so doesnt that qualify the statement his parent died fighting teh 9 tails as far as teh legacy comment goes that was the shakest but still very suggestive and the last 'fact' is what convinced me really when i read it

Wow alot of ppl get worked up about this.... i've only recently started watching Naruto and its impressive, however I don't think that full grown men/women should be arguing over who is an anime character's parents... something about this screams "you need to get out more...." even so, good to see peeps passionate about anime.
