... you don't NEED PCI-X to enjoy Far Cry at its fullest, you NEED a 9800xt , alot of CPU power and RAM and someone to pay the people at Crytek and ATI to sit down and sort out the code so you get more performance and less bugs.
the X-800 and 6800 ultra can push far cry at playable FPS with everything possible maxed out on AGP 8-X .
true , PCI-X is not needed NOW but a year or two from now the vid cards will need more than what AGP can offer. Not to mention all the other devices that can overload the PCI bus right now .. and have to stick with that PCI bus.
