'cheap thing no good' applies to certain things.... yes the prescotts will fry everything inside your case but they will not fry themselves , they were designed to handle a core temp of up to 90 degrees celsius, though they normally hit about 65 under load.
The Durons are cheap and VERY good compared to the CELERONS even up to today, the 1.8/1.6 durons are only 45 USD and they pwn all the all the pentiums below 1.8ghz , and all the celerons that are non D cores.
when it comes to RAM 'cheap thing no good' applies well....... and thermal paste/pads .
