How many people here would participate in a Capcom vs SNK 2 tournament were there to be one? We could start agreeing on some terms and conditions for it right now.... Hopefully have one before the end of the vacation...

Intriguing thread.
In response to Fault, I think that this is a great idea.
Unfortunately, my attention is somewhat diverted to SvC Chaos, and I'm currently on the hunt for challengers, so I'm a bit on the wayside when it comes to CvS2.
A couple more things:

Well, partner, whenever you're ready, give me a shout out and I will come. Be warned, though....whenever you challenge somebody like me in a game like this, note that I'm not in the habit of burying my opponents, so it's BYOC when funeral time comes.
...NO, not 'bring your own computer', I mean, 'Bring your own COFFIN'. Those things are handy to have, but DAMN they're expensive.

The main reason sweats like these are so successful is because of the staple fact that it's a game that EVERYBODY is into, not just a small demographic. Everybody has their own tastes when it comes to games, and what may seem like a novel sweat idea for one, may be a complete flop in the eyes of others. Capcom vs. SNK 2 is a tried and true game, that nearly everyone can get into, so it has that potential to be a hit.


....well, that's enough yakking from me.
My agenda's pretty packed right now, so I may not be able to come.
