Since Smackdown doesn't really show down here again, i expect a lot of people to lean towards RAW. Even if Smackdown was showing, though, my favorite WWE show would still be RAW. Reasons:
1. Opening theme kicks ass.
2. A lot of the most popular WWE superstars are on RAW, sans the Undertaker.
3. More Divas than you could shake a stick at!
4. Sheriff Stone Cold Steve Austin laying down the law. Need I say more?
On top of that, Smackdown can't seem to get its act together. A lot of the talent that originally appeared on Smackdown have since jumped ship to RAW [Matt Hardy, HHH, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Tajiri], and the show has burned through TWO General Managers.
What seems to be left now is a lot of up and comers on Smackdown!, all headed by the new GM, Kurt Angle. Yes, you heard me right. Vince has really run out of ideas. Well, while I did hear that Kurt is suffering with his neck, fact is, Kurt isn't GM material. Period. And try as he might, I can almost predict his actions as GM [speaking of which, Eddie, I might want to super-glue that title round your waist if I were you].
Already, he made a huge mistake in my eyes when he traded HHH less that 24 hours after he was carted to Smackdown. SD! needed HHH, and even if it was for Booker T and the Dudley Boys, it was one BAD trade-off.
It almost kills the whole point of the lottery. Heck, it DID kill it.
Because after all of that drama of HHH, going to SD!, and Evolution running in to assist their leader 'for the last time', which resulted in a RAW vs. Smackdown free-for-all, I'd expect much better than to just trade him the next day.
So, to make a long story short, Smackdown's days are numbered, or at least would be if they weren't the same brand. SD! Superstars pale in comparison to RAW's, General managers can't seem to hold a job there, and the whole scenario is so completely messed up that the only thing keeping the damn show alive at ALL is the Dead Man. He, at least, was the show's saving grace.
So, in a nutshell?
To HELL with Smackdown! :-x
Make mine RAW!
