ok peeps i'm sellin marissa, she's a gateway notebook with:

2.0ghz amd turion 64 ml-37 processor (excellent battery life, lasts my full 3hr java class once i'm only doing note taking)
802.11b/g Wireless (nothing else to say)
15.4-Inch ultrabright WXGA
1GB DDR (2x512)
80GB 5400rpm HDD
DVD+/-RW
Windows XP Media Center
targus 15.4 inch notebook backpack carrying case
usb optical mouse

i'm asking $5300 for this (negotiable)
price drop i'm now asking $3500 for her, as the left lcd hinge as broken

this is a tigerdirect product page for a similar laptop, the only difference is that marissa has a 2.0ghz processor, also note she was purchased brand new from gateway, and still as 6months manufacturers warranty left

oh, and the pics were taken with a camera phone, hence the poor quality

i'm sellin it for two reasons.

1) i do laptop importation and sales for a living, more specifically, hp laptops, so havin a gateway and selling hp systems isn't right
and
2.) i want to upgrade, need somtin more powerful, shouldn't have sold sarah (the acer i had b4)

just curious.. ent the screen could fleck up if the hinge breaks because there's a strip in there or something? i don't even know myself but my friend put the blame on me (akon song lol) when his screen stopped working.. apparently, i had cracked his hinge when i pulled the lid back too much, about a year ago

marissa has been replaced under warranty, so she is now brand new, started up her up once, so price is now 4500
