Well let's put it this way, he mentions that Naruto taught him a jutsu, Naruto from before the time skip.
We already know that he can use kage bunshin (which btw is impressive for a new genin) and he knows the harem jutsu. Naruto is hardly brimming with jutsu so if he taught him one it has to be either kuchiyose no jutsu or rasengan. And I doubt Konohamaru gonna be summoning anybody.

I doubt he'll be using rasengan either, thats a Jounin level jutsu .

Likely its some form of feint with Kage bunshin ,  Konohamaru is the grandson of a hokage, same family as Asuma , he would have something half decent up his sleeve like a fire release technique as well.

I doubt he'll be killed though .

But konohamaru's tiny little rasengan, kage bushin style did impress me. He should be a pretty good ninja by now.

He's at the age where naruto and sasuke had their jounin level battle. I think he progressed pretty well. Lord knows how long i wanted to see some chapters focused on him and his crew

I don't see why anyone should be surprised by his prowess. He was doing kage bunshin soon after becoming a genin, which is in itself an A rank skill.

I think they frames him pretty well, he obviously isn't as accomplished as Naruto given how much smaller his rasengan is and the fact that he needs to clone to help him hold it but Konohamaru is from first class ninja stock.

Yall forgetting one important thing, the kage bushin splits chakra amoungst the clones. Naruto is a CHAKRA TANK, hence his ransengan was/will always been surperior to MOST nin. That being said, this is a decent feat for a genin and Konohamaru deserves some credit. However I don't think it is enough to deal with Pain... just short of seriously injuring or destroying a body completely, a rasengan lower than Naruto's won't keep a Pain Body down for long. Man Akatsuki garb not even torn... O_o

WOW.... just read the latest chapter and wow... I wonder if the summoning technique was like that of what's going on in bleach where they displaced the village in a temporal rift.... Otherwise and this is strict speculation, the summoning scroll seen at the end of the chp has what looks like flames on the edges could it be that scroll we saw Jaraiya signed before he died, the scroll that controls the kyubi seal? whatever it is, they made it out to seem as though pain had to take notice because of it's power...next week is a chapter to read (IF they have one considering it's boxing day XD)

Well crixx I am inclined to believe that most of the village would be safe as it was in the fillers (imagine that) that they showed the emergency procedure for the village. They all huddle in the corner together in a shelter housed in the mountain (behind the hokage heads). So I am thinking most are alive (well the normal civilians) the nin in the village on the other hand... shino and pops, dogs, etc... all should be flatter than a paper strip after sitting under a steamroller for a week....

Maybe it'd be better is I summarized it based on what I understand.

Naruto shows up in Sage Mode and has changed his costume which appears to be resemble something akin to Yondaime. He along with Gamabunta, Gamaken, and a Green Frog summon 400 frogs. Hinata is seen with two Hyuugas who at first were thought to be Hanabi and Hiashi but are actually just escorts for Hinata amid the rubble. At some point Hinata and Sakura are together and they see Naruto and Pain and comment on how great Naruto is/or are impressed with him after his return.


The visuals are like I thought they would be. If I say 'Clothes like the 4th' will you get it?

Little notes about second script translation by me:

Enma is not the monkey, it's that monster with black flames that the Hell Realm Pain (the one who fought Konohamaru) uses to judge if a person is telling the truth.
Also, "Bean" Pain is probably Demon realm (the one that Kakashi destroyed, that with a lot of arms and faces).
This would mean that Hell Pain is the one who can bring the wrecked bodies back to 'life' and he did it with Demon realm who after all got defeated again by Naruto \o.
PS: I'm guessing that "bean pain" is Demon realm because past spoilers always called him "bean/beam pain" It's like Japanese people also gives nicknames to Pain bodies (like we call Hunger realm "Fat pain")

I'm sure they showed that during the Sound attacking the village. Maybe that was a filler scene but I remember seeing that during Oro's attack during the chuunin exams.
