Sigh....should i burst his bubble? Yes.

VBS is a Perm. Magic card that states alll monsters must wait one turn after they are summoned to attack. Thus, this just stops yata from attacking. With the amount of Magic/Trap removal that serious duelists pack how long do you expect for VBS to remain on the field, 3 turns max and then Yata lock. It just delays the inevitable. But be not dismayed, there is a much overlooked card that makes Yata BAWL.

Fengshing Mirror (FM): Search your opponents hand for a spirit monster and then discard it to the graveyard. And what do we all know about spirit monsters? They CANNOT be special summoned. So when the cobo hit the graveyard, he ain't comin back. So fengshing mirror is a permanent solution to yata as opposed to VBS.

Analysis>
1) VBS is a magic card that affects both players, so it can frig you up too. Not being able to attack can kill YOUR yata and alot of your beatdown time. FM affacts just your opponent.

2) VBS must remain on the field to work to keep the cobo at bay, so it's sussceptible to negation and M/T removal, whilst FM is only susceptible to negation, and thats only if you play your cards wrongly.

3) VBS only keeps Yata at bay from attacking, till your opp destroys it and that will be very soon. FM sends the cobo to the graveyard never to be seen again.

4) For the effect that you can see your opponent's hand, that alone makes FM playable.

Well there you have it, those are the pros and cons of Yata removal. You make your pick as to the best. But i know that most tournament experienced duelists would pack a FM in their side decks.

We would all like to get cards cheap....only 2 ways to do that though
FM still ownz yata hidden, no getting around that. And the CED will only help you if you have a Sangan on the field and a Yata in your deck.

Anyone want have Swords of Revealing light to trade/sell.....i will buy it or trade for a Solemn Judgement.
