LOL @ star

the success of this events was mainly due to SPK, Antonio (guy selling cheap boosters), Valpark shopping plaza staff, my lil bro and Church's Chicken.

Ick.
I wouldn't thank them if they up and GAVE the food away free.
The food there just....SUCKS.
Surprises the heck out of me how they could raise enough money to be the sponsors of ANYTHING, really....

The event was good on the whole...a little on the hectic side, but that is to be expected...

Everything went well, with the exception of an apparent little scam that was going on in the prelims involving two linked duelists...but other than that, I don't have any real complaints...just looking forward to the later events for this summer...:)

this have to be the first event ever without any "real" complaints!!

again, kudos!

lol @ curried manicou, the official food of Yu Gi Oh.

ps,  while @ first I thought it tasted like crap, church's chicken is now pretty high on my list. Better than royal castle (without the pepper sauce)

That pepper sauce just changes everything!

well there wasn't any real complaints from my side, cuz just about everything that could be complained about, well that's all part of the job...so it shouldn't be listed as complaints...

I was still able to chill with my 2-piece combo for a quick lunch though :P

Toymart Yugioh Challenge -> July 24th @ Price Plaza
« Reply #272 on: July 18, 2004, 05:27:55 PM »
What time does registration begin?  Will it be straight knockout?  I hear it's $50 on the day and $40 to register before.  Are those prices correct?
I would think that trading would be ok, but selling should be done at a location other than the tournament.  What's the low down on such activities?

Sorry about the lack of Info guys.....all you need can be found at http://yugioh.gatt.co.tt

Toymart has asked us to aid them in hosting a Yugioh! tourney on July 24th. The Venue is Price Plaza, Chaguanas (PriceMart Compound). Registration can be done previously @ Toymart in Priceplaza & Grand Bazaar for $35....or on the day itself for $45.

We have great prizes for both the Junior and Senior Divisions! So don't be worried about going home empty handed. And with the Last Man Standing element you have the added chance of advancing even if you are defeated. Plus Toymart will be selling boosters @ a MUCH cheaper cost than usual.

I expect GATT members to take this oppurtunity to sharpen their skills for the Nationals in August. So come on down to Price Plaza on July 24th and show us your Dueling skills. Bring a friend & Tell as many ppl as possible because the more ppl registering the BIGGER the prizes!

What time does the tournament start?
What time is it expected to end?

could you merge that info into one post Smurf so we can send it out to the mailing list?

That should help in spreading the good word!

A map to that location would help too. Any centralite willing to get busy with MS Paint and do up a quick one??
