I am not saying that you all are making up the fact that he cheated, quite the opposite. I am saying that i had no PROOF for which i could disqualify him. and in my position acting on impulse without any proof would have raised a very unhappy mob. Something i did not believe was the interest of your safety. For as your friend and tournament organizer, your safety is the most important thing to me.

However, i believe that you are right about the number of judges employed. I was really looking to have more GATT staff helping out but that day coincided with Cooler fete and the persons were unable to come out and help. So i was short staffed. Next time (June 26th) we will be alot better prepared. I am extending the invitation to New Era Outlaw to assist us as one of the senior GATT judges in charge of the 1vs 1 main dueling section. I hope with his expertise he will provide the needed sanction of the GATT tournaments.

In addition, i will hire additional security so that if i have to expel a cheater, any riots caused thereof may be contained. But i hope that it never comes to that.

It was clear that you and your brother was doing all in your capacity to establish justice in that tournament, but I still think that boy didn't deserve that prize. I'll do my best if you need me.

Besides which....I'm not really dueling competitively much again.
These days, I'm dueling more for fun, rather than to win.
For those of you who have seen me in recent days, I become an aggravated mess when I lose nowadays. All I did was focus on winning, and winning, seemingly, was all that mattered anymore.

I'll be competing seriously in Anime City 8, since it's the Nationals and I have a reputation as one of the Top Ten duelists in this country to maintain, but after that, I don't know....perhaps I'll still be dueling to win, or laying back and dueling for kicks. Perhaps I'll even retire and become a judge for upcoming tournaments...who knows?

All I know is, don't count NEO out yet.
Papasmurf, let me know if you need a hand with any upcoming tournaments. I'll be glad to take some of the workload off of your shoulders.

thats the spirit NEO... u know how long i tellin u that?... when i duel i have fun and kix otherwise i'd be a wreck.... alot of crap can happen in the game( LIKE U AND YOUR OPPONENT HAVING NO CARDS U DRAW A MAGICIAN OF FAITH AND SET IT THEN THEY DRAW CHANGE OF HEART!!!)....CLEARS THROAT.... but u cant let em get to yuh.... its a game and its purpose is to allow fun... if u happen to win all the time MORE POWER TO YUH...anyway... so does this mean that u wont be participating in the next gatt tourny NEO? and smurf get back a deck!.
Anyhow now to move a lil more on topic so far i count 2 or 3 gatt men enterin the AC7.5 tourny wat really goin on? we have to make an impact we need at least 4 men for full up the finals.. alyuh come out nah ... we'll get to duel with DUELDISKS!.
by the by.... i heard rumors that this tourny they are gonna change the format from beat as much men as possible to elimination... anyone able to clarify this do so please

oh yeah, ill be in the tournament also so that will make it 4 people. Anyway could you actually say whos going to be in the tournament from gatt. so far all i know is kajun(i think)

anyway could anybody anticipate how long this tourney gonna last because i kinda want to ketch some anime before i go because its not anime city without a bit of anime in it

Relax, guys. Don't you worry.
I'll post up a report on the Anime City 7.5 tournament soon enough.
I can tell you that it was a really great tournament, nearly everything went off without a hitch. It was also a really exhausting experience...let me tell ya, running from contestant to contestant answering queries and seating duelists to the next available opponent was no cakewalk.
I'm beat, to be quite honest.

Anime City 7.5 was the best for me.
Aside from having the honour to assume the mantle of official judge again, I got some really neat cards during the event as well.
Behold the spoils of the hunt:

Ring of Destruction [Ultra Rare]
Lava Golem [Ultra Rare]
And.....ANOTHER Black Luster Soldier: Envoy of the Beginning! [I opened another one! Hooray for me!

I'm really ecstatic about my new cards.
Can't wait to see what my new D.D. Designator can do!
As for the Lava Golem, my brother got another Ring of Destruction, so we traded it for another IOC Edition card. I would have preferred Gemini Elf, but Lava Golem's just fine.
Since opening Wild Nature's Release from Smurf's IOC Booster box, I have since been looking for cards to start a Jungle themed deck.
May not be high on my priority list right now, but who can argue with a 3000 ATK Berserk Gorilla, eh? :wink:

Well, I'll get down to posting the report soon enough.
Until then.....

P.S.: BTW, in case you all were wondering, no, I'm not trading OR selling my second Black Luster Soldier. It's my brother's card now. Sorry.

ac8 is the official nationals i think.... i not sure if i can go... depends on how i do in exams lol.... i fix up my deck after the tourny was finished and it was then the kajun deck was complete....talk bout being late... it was kool though soe talent there ...some crappy men there.... waste of space in the tourny....first place was johnathon aka sabrewolf... a man from java....buy my uncle space in the tourny on the morning for 25 and win a SP he sell for 500...not bad for a days work if yuh ask me
