the all in wonder combines graphic processing output with analog video capture capability. so essentially it is a way to input analog video on the same card so you can edit it. this as opposed to having a firewire input for digital video. the all in wonders usually have features like tv-tuner and pvr/dvr capabilities and sometimes a remote contrtol is included in the bundle.

if you want the stright up, it looks like you have to wait till doom3 and half life 2 come out shizz. keep checking tomshardware.com
personally i find nvidia getting more and more arrogant and uncvaring about consumers as regards to feature sets and driver upgrades.

Well I have always used Nvidia so my opinion is probably very biased! BUT from all the reviews I have seen and the benchmarks scores (the best way to tell a cards speed)  ATI cards arent usually faster and when they are its only a slight.

I have recently bought myself a Gainward Golden Sample GF fx5200 and have played a certain alpha leaked game (which I cant mention) and it runs it BEAUTIFULLY. I cannot tell you the difference from a GF4 4200 Gainward golden sample. I used 3dmark03 and the tests show it runs faster than most (none overclocked) GF fx 5600s

So if ya want a good card which is guaranteed to overclock to 20% of its stated core speed choose a Gainward golden sample.

CHOOSE A GAINWARD GOLDEN SAMPLE!!!

Right now NVIDIA is at a disadvantage; ATI's hardware is much easier to code for and the performance on Microsoft's HLSL compiler clearly favors the R3x0 over the NV3x. NVIDIA has a long road ahead of them in order to improve their compilers to the point where game developers won't have to hand-code special NV3x codepaths, but for now ATI seems to have won the battle. Next year will be the year of DX9 titles, and it will be under the next generation of games that we will finally be able to crown a true DX9 winner. Until then, anyone's guess is fair game.

ATI is still the recommendation, but NVIDIA is not a bad card to have by any stretch of the imagination. We still urge our readers not to buy a card until the game they want to play shows up on the street. For those of you who need a card now, we'll be doing a value card round up as part of this series as well.
